I, Philip Cameron purchased a vehicle at I Ride Used Cars in Sanford, FL. Initially I was sold a 2019 Nissan Sentra. The car had multiple issues and had to be towed to the dealership within a few days. The warning light came on soon after being driven from the lot (within 24 hours). I was sold a warranty along with the car, but it did not cover the repairs. Iride then traded that car for a 2017 Chevy Malibu. That car also had problems and the repairs cost $4,000. Only $900.00 was covered by warranty. This car also required towing and I refused to continue paying for the car unless it was repaired. Though I turned the car in at the dealership, they reported it as repossessed. I was also charged towing and storage fees by C&S Towing services, when the car was no longer in my possession. This dealership has predatory practices. The dealership has closed the Sanford location and had all the cars towed to their parent company, Reed Nissan in Orlando, FL. The Nissan I originally purchased is involved in a class action suit regarding a defective CVT. I am being harassed for payment for a vehicle I don't have.
Country of complaint: United States
Desired outcome: I would like this repossession to be removed from my credit report. I would like the harassment from the finance company, Consumer Portfolio Services to cease.
