The following individuals represent a company known as (IFT) International Finance & Trust (Julie Holden, Bryan Smith, Steve Benders, and Kurt Hamilton) and are involved in a financial investment scam where they convince you to let them invest $50K of your money or more in an investment that will pay handsome returns.

They will tell you that contractually your funds are insured and safe and also if the investment does not preform in a short period of time and you can request your principal back they will return your investment.

This is a scam and they will not return your investment. We have been trying to get our principal back since 11/30/09 and they will give you every excuse for the delay but will not be able to verify any wire transfers.

Do not do business with these people as they will probably appear under a new company and if you are a victom of the (IFT) scam I am referring to contact us as we are pursuing them through legal recourses.

The above is a thread involving Assured Capital, the postings on this thread parallel the misinformation and stall tactics used by International Finance and Trust.

Bryan Smith's name has come up on sites before with problems involving WEP and Global Reserves on Mortgagegrapvine.

Julie Holden is either the most naive person we have ever encountered to believe what is being told to her by the un named Principal, or she is part of the conspiracy. Whenever she is pressed for "Sanitized" documentation supporting her claims, the requests are completely ignored.

to TEINC, the disturbing thing about IF&T is they do not to my knowledge even have a bricks and mortar office. All of the "employees" or directors (whatever you want to call them) are scattered all over the country. The registered address in florida is actually a condo under Kurt Hamiltons name. So...if they are this large multi million company that can put these large commercial loans together, where are the nuts and bolts that actually put these deals together? How can you put ten million dollar deals together when everybody is scattered across the Country?
The concrete information I have at this point is this, I have NOT heard of ONE individual that has had a return of their investment, their investment returned to them, or in your case a deal close. You stated you had one client that actually made it to the table. If you did that is THE ONLY one I have heard of. Kurt Hamilton who is a shareholder of IF&T was having the same problems when he was involved with Global Reserves. He is simply operating another company doing the same thing.

Here is the latest we have found on IF&T thanks to the diligence of another poster on this tread.

Check out this sight and look up International Finance and Trust. Julie Holden is the only Shareholder left and only Director. Kurt Hamilton, Bryan Smith, and Matthew Jarvis have sold or given their shares to Julie. And of course it's in New Zealand. What does that tell us? This Company is on it's last legs. It has taken our Investments and Deposits and we will never see them. Why is Julie still there giving excuse after excuse? Well, she is still getting investors and Real Estate Deals at this point. People are still giving her money, that's why she is still operatinig under International Finance and Trust. Beware, the other individuals will pop up again under another name. And Julie will eventually go away and where will our money be? In New Zealand of course.

I KNOW Bryan Smith is in this garbage up to his eyeballs. He was a major player--one of the top THREE--involved with World Equity Partners (WEP) and his name came up--several times--during an interview with the Securities and Exchange Commission investigation when they interviewed me and subpoenaed my Client files who had paid WEP, Ron Poorman, Tom Thresher & BRYAN (Brian) Smith--large sums of money which netted nothing but excuses from these three (3) rascals.
The point is--What can you do about it if you get scammed ? Truth is: Nothing. The money you gave is gone on toys and stupidity--these guys are not 3rd generation money and have no idea what to do with any degree of wealth. They can't apply it to stock trades because they acquired it through criminal enterprise..No Broker will touch it. They wouldn't know a sound investment if one came their way. They didn't keep the money. The Justice department isn't going to prosecute them---" You signed an Agreement that gave them LEGAL RIGHTS to do anything they wanted to do with YOUR money "...it was called " Management Agreement" and or" Power of Attorney"...Where is the crime ?

I really sympathize with the complainants. However, Americans are a greedy lot...always looking for the "get rich quick scheme". Always wanting to banter about millions of dollars...closing big deals. The truth is that a majority of you would not know a good investment deal if it hit you square in the face. SO! Yes. You lose your money out of ignorance, greed, and stupidity. Then you want to get on the Internet and cry "POOR ME"...I was scammed. Look what they did to me! However, no one forced you to go to the "guys" house with your mini-skirt tucked in half-way up your AS. ...and, out of stupid behavior you got raped. learn from your mistakes...and get on with your life. You participated in the "SCAM"...by being there. By not doing due diligence. By not asking the questions that...all of a sudden...you are now asking after the fact. If only I would have known. You SHOULD HAVE KNOWN!

I am commercial mortgage broker who has made an attempt to bring clients to International Finance & Trust. Only one of my clients has been able to get to the table with IF&T. I first of IF&T back in March 2009. At the time when performing my own due diligence all I could finds on the internet was "positive" information "confirming" what I was told they to offer.

A very thumbnail sketch of the offering is as follows:

* Minimum Loan Amount
* Minimum Security Reserve Deposit 10% of the loan amount
* Construction Loan with "automatic" rollover to permanent loan at the end of construction phase.

Currently my client has only "met" w/IF&T via conference calls. They have not made a deposit to IF&T as they are still performing their own due diligence. They had investors interested in their project until I was told about these complaints which I find to be disturbing at best.

Does anyone have some concrete information on them? It seems the only information out in the public is "negative" there is very little if any "positive". The "positive" information, if you want to call it that, merely confirms what I was told they have to offer.

I invested a large sum of money this Sept. 09 with the promise of getting monthly payments. I have not seen a dime, have a stack of e-mails with one excuse after another from Julie Holden. She refers to the Paymaster and on and on we go. I have asked for my money back no response at all, just a blanket e-mail with more stories about wire transfers, etc. Nothing even makes sense!
I am going to the District Attny. office now as this is making me sick!

We would like some information on IF&T as we are currently looking at a loan from them. If anyone has some concrete information on them, please respond to this and we will set up a conference call or a direct e-mail correspondence.

Dennis, you are 100% right in everything you've said. I've been waiting to find a fellow victim. Will you discuss what you invested in with me? We need to get these guys uncovered and turned in FAST! Ms. Holden has SEVERAL bad things in her past that I've found out and she is deeply involved in IFT. Can you give me an email or number where I can call you?

Bryan Smith in not part of this organization. He has been out of the company since October of 09 I believe or eariler. Julie Holden is currently operating the company and working to get the funds returned. Last I knew she was very close to finalizing the return of funds. Bryan is an honest and good person and is in no way connected to any "scam"
