We are the residents living near the above mentioned business. Details of the business can be viewed on the web site provided. Our complaint is that the Land on which this business is established is semi-commercial(i.e residential and commercial) and not industrial. There is an amenity plot opposite to the property of IDEAL (Private) Limited Manufacturer and Exporters of Leather Garments which is dedicated for a public park to be utilized by the residents living in the area, but unfortunately by force and coercion the owners of this company have alot of times by means of bribery to the concerned authorities, land mafia, and links with notorious politicians managed to stop the park from being made and instead use the land as a parking space for their employees and as a terminal to load and unload raw materials and goods, thus depriving hundreds of children of neighborhood from a play ground/park.
The Company is a 100% export oriented organization and all it’s Products are Exported. The major export markets are Canada, Germany, France, U.K, Greece, Finland, Czech Republic and Australia. The Company’s Annual Turnover is around US $ 10.00 Million.

    It is to inform that the Status of our Property situated at A-18/19 Block 7&8 K.C.H.S.U. Ltd. Is Commercial / Industrial approved by the Government of Sindh. A very light Industrial Activity consisting of Stitching Machines is undertaken at our property which does not disturb our neighbors. Similar Industrial activity is also being carried out in other buildings of the area. We agree that the plot in front of us is an Amenity Plot for a park. Unfortunately an Amenity Plot behind our building which is supposed to be used for parking is being misused by the owner as a Car workshop. We are in contact with the Top Officials in the Sindh Government for restoration of this plot as a parking plot.

    We would like to inform you that it is the desire of person’s living in the area that the plot which is supposed to be a park should be used for parking otherwise there is no space to park cars in the area. We would like to inform that we only use the space in front of our Building for parking and most of our vehicle parking is used on our 3 side vacant corner plot opposite to our Building. If majority of the persons living in the area want this amenity plot to be used as a park then we don’t have any objection.

    Therefore we suggest that the Residents of the Area should get together and if so desire then efforts should be made to convert this amenity plot into a park. We also would like to inform you that in the past our Company has spent a lot of money in leveling of this plot when the plot was damaged by rains.

    It is requested that facts should be clearly understood before writing such defamatory remarks about a company which is earning a lot of Foreign Exchange for the country and giving employment to a lot of people. Our Company is fully responsible towards its role in the Area of Corporate Social Responsibility. In the past no resident has even complained to us about the usage of plot as a parking. It is also requested that the residents who have objection should contact the undersigned so that a decision is to be made on the proper use of this Amenity Plot.

    I am a resident of the mentioned area and i would like to add that because this company has its own advantages for the plot not being turned into a park other people also have started using the plot as a car park. On previous complains Municipal officers had erected boundary walls to the plot but then as they were forced from authorities above the work discontinued.
