ICUII Video Webcam Chat Software review: I have never been so insulted in my life!

The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.

I have tried this service on 2 separate occasions, to make and receive video calls. The cost is $49.95 per year. I have rarely been able to connect and actually see the person I was talking to and nor could they see me.

The first time I wrote it off to having a dial-up connection, now I have DSL and am having the same problems. I contacted tech support via email and have tried everything I can think of to see if the problem is on my end. I received an email message from what I thought may be tech support but it turned out to be "one" of the owners, he informed me I was in a area that I was not to be in, due to the traffic nature, I told him I had no idea and proceeded to explain my problem. He told me if I needed help to contact tech support. I let him know this has been an issue for me in the past and I guess I said something he took the wrong way, he immediately kicked me off the service and finished it off with calling me a "pervert" and a "###". I have health issues and am unable to leave my home so I wanted to use this to talk to friends and family. He also told me that I would NOT receive a refund. I've used this service for about 2-3 months, and I get nothing back?! I called customer service and was told that this was one of the owners and that he did this on a regular basis. I was told to email the copies of what he said to customer service and they would forward them to the other owner. The lady I talked to kept saying she didn't know why he acted like that but the "other" owner was trying to "fix" the problem. I can email these comments to anyone that cares to see them, I have never been so insulted in my life!

I guess its back to using the telephone only. I did apologize to this man twice, due to the misunderstanding and explained that I was frustrated. I don't think I should have to apologize for not being able to leave my home, after all, it wasn't my fault!
