Hurricane Group review: I need someone to reconnect my cameras to the system after the factory reset erased them

I contacted a company named Hurricane Group Johnathan came to inspect the home. I got a high quote that John said would be adjusted if the full labor wasn’t needed this was just in case there were complications. I paid upfront for the equipment and was told it would be ready in a few weeks. Those few weeks turned into a few months as he made excuses to manufacture issues, in the meantime I thought I’d search myself for a system and found the identical one for 100$-500$ and offered to help source the system for him since it was such a good deal. He tells me that it’s not the right camera system we need a system called Hikevision not Hikvision (I have threads of all conversations, pictures, invoices and paperwork to prove this) so I had to wait since I was told the money I gave was spent and if we change course now we need a fresh payment. After months of dodging me, not showing up for scheduled installations x 3 that he just didn’t contact me to reschedule giving me family excuses. I finally get them here in July for the install and only one person shows up, she has with her a smaller system and she had the exact same system I had wanted to resource for a couple hundred dollars versus the thousands that John was up charging the exact same system Hikvision and not all the right supplies since an extension for better signal hadn’t arrived yet. She installed the 4 cameras however the system I paid for was supposed to have 7-8channels, I needed back up cameras in case anything happened to the installed ones. I was told the other camera(s) were at johns place but he could bring them by not a problem (that has never happened) it wasn’t long before the system was acting up not working properly but getting in touch with John was met negatively with him telling me that my bill wasn’t paid and he wasn’t helping me. I have paid my bill for the équipement and paid him several times to clear up the majority. The bill was to be adjusted due to being overcharged for labor we didn’t use or need. Only one tech came for max 6 hours doing the 4 cameras throughout the house. Now my system lost connection to the cameras and John is telling me that he’s not helping me. I have all the quotes, bills paid and documents showing the overcharges. I no longer have a working security system because he won’t help me fix this. His customer service sucks. He lied about the system I could have sourced for hundreds vs thousands. He scammed me out of a technician to speed up the install process and still claims I owe him money. He has collected close to $2000 from me for a system I could have paid $200 for and charged me days installation costs vs hours which is what it literally took and he’s refusing to help service the system leaving me the customer with a system I paid for but had only worked for less than 6 months.
