Hp Customer Care, Alok Bharati Building, Saheed Nagar, Bhubaneswar — rude behaviour not giving right information
Today on 25th March 2011 at 12.15 PM I went to HP Jaydev Gas Agency today to shift my gas connection to my area (hanspal, Bhubaneswar) where I have recently shifted. It is nearly 18KM distnace from Jayadev Gas Agency. When I reach there and requested for paper work of shifting they (both dealer and his staff) told me that you need to make a written from the dealer available in your area. I said I am not aware who is the dealer in my area but as a dealer you must have information about the dealer. They simply told me that they are not aware of the dealer in that area and adviced me to contact in customer care. Also one of the lady staff insist me to talk to channel manager and adviced me to took the number from their board. The number was [protected]. I made a call to that number and wanted to know the dealer name in my area. I go the same answer "I do not have idea. You have to find it". That time I got surpirsed, being a so reputed organisation like Hindustan petrolium how come they are so irresponsible ? Nobody has idea who is the dealer in that area where as it is just 18 KM away and in the same city. After talking the jaydev Gas Agency owner he suggest me to talk to Smruti Gas Agency. Then I started to find out Smrut Gas Agency number. But having no luck I tried to contact customer care office which is situation Alokbharti Building, Saheed Nagar, Bhubaneswar. I tried to contact on [protected], somebody(he refused to tell his name) picked up the phone I requested him to provide Smruti Gas Agency phone number. He said call back after 1 hour. I simply asked him will it take 1 hour to find out the number. He said I am not sitting ideally here I am very busy so you call me after 1 hour. Then I told him this is customer care and you suppose to provide right information to the customers rather you ignore. You must have computer and the list of Agencies having their address and contact number so it will take 2-3 minute to give the information so please kindly look into computer and let me know. Then he started behaving rudly. He told me I said it will take 1 hour means you call me after 1 hour. I can give information before that time. Then I asked his name. He tole me why you asking my name I said I will complain about you in HP. He said I can not tell my name and cut off the phone. It was 12.25Pm after that I repeatdly tried to call on that number but it was going busy. I tried span of every 1/2 an hour and it was busy. After waiting 1 and 1/2 an hour in Jayadev Gas Agency I left that place without finding any solution.
I returned to my office. Now it is 2.45 PM and I am trying to register a complain in web. Again now I tried to contact in that number still it is busy.
Is this what HP providing service to the customer? I request to officials in HP to take strong action against the person who behaved like that. Also I request to provide proper service in all areas. Bhubaneswar is not a small town now. it is next computer hub and now it is the reputed education center. Hanspal is just 3KM away from Rasulgarh but it is strange that there are no dealer available in that area. Rasulgarh is the most famous area in bhubaneswar but it is sad that being a reputed organisation it has not filling centere/dealer in that area.
Now I am thinking to switch my connection to any other company.
