I had been hosting my websites since 2013 with Hostmonster/Bluehost Hosting Company. My Websites - about six websites total, got Malware. I was told by the Bluehost/Hostmonster representative, that in order to be able to get into my existing websites (which I was locked out of accessing all of them) — I MUST PURCHASE SITELOCK SECURITY for each site, which was very expensive. (minimum $179.88 or $299.88 per site.) I said I thought this was not in my budget-that I had been with the hosting company since 2013 and that I expected some Customer Service Assistance.
I also informed Hostmonster/Bluehost that I had found a hosting company that would clean the malware and transfer my websites themselves, if Hostmonster/Bluehost would just let me have access to my established, built, websites. The new hosting company said they could access through one of two ways, if the current company would just allow me the access to my existing websites. They denied that to me over and over.
On Dec. 8th, 2021 - I purchased two sites to be cleaned and managed with Sitelock Services, just so I could get the new hosting company to migrate my sites over to their business and clean them for me. At this time, I informed Hostmonster/Bluehost - that I no longer would be using their services as of my next payment date of January 14, 2022. By speaking to Sitelock, I also learned that Sitelock will also cancel services for my sites with Bluehost/hostmonster. Due to the the arrangement Hostmonster/Sitelock have - they are considered the purchaser of Sitelock (not me). I spoke with Sitelock and they will be cancelling any services for my acct. with Hostmonster as I no longer host with them and I should be paid a pro-rated amount deducting for the period from December 8, 2021-January 14, 2022. Sitelock was paid to protect my sites until December 8, 2022. I was told by Sitelock that I can, however, purchase SiteLock using this prorated amount with my new hosting service, if I find I need it I have written a letter to the Sales Rep from Hostmonster/Bluehost/Newfold requesting a refund - I also sent a copy of the email to Sitelock Services Rep Holly Garnes. I have not gotten any return information regarding a refund from Hostmonster/Bluehost/Newfold Corporation - or even a phone acknowledgement. Hostmonster/Bluehost took complete control over my websites, and constitutes controlled theft on the part of Hostmonster/Bluehost/Newfold.
I expect a refund from Hostmonster/Bluehost/Newfold.

Desired outcome: Refund of the prorated amount from purchase of December 8, 2021 for $359.76 for security services through January 14, 2022.
