Home Restoration Business review: Two functioning bathrooms

On 4/23/2022 I filed an insurance claim for water damage to both bathrooms in my home. My insurance company recommended NW Restorations. Since I thought my insurance company had a fiduciary responsibility to me (same company for 40 years) I went with their recommendation.

In May Rapid Response had begun drying out process. I guess they were hired by the Insurance Company or NW Restorations?

6/30/20to Bryan from NW Restorations Came to my home and assured me that he would have all reinstalled by August 23,2022. Since then, I have heard very little from them and my bathrooms are torn up with nails sticking up and dangerous wood splinters all over.

I do have a temporary shower and my daughter-in law reinstalled a toilet. I had to stay at a hotel for a month.

Contractor refused to give me his CCB license number. I believe he doesn't have one. They will not connect you to anyone in a position to assist at their main office. I finally drove down to their office in Aurora. Stonewalled again!

Secretary told me that she was not allowed to give out the owner's telephone number.

NW Restorations has been a horror to try and work with. They stall and make excuses, shoddy workmanship., one of the subs actually put his foot through the sub floor in the shower and contractor Bryan (said they could install the pan anyway but without a warranty... unethical.

It is now September 21,2022 and they want out of contract after doing no work and they are coming over for a final accounting.

Do yourself a favor. Just don't deal with them.
