We had hired Lonny Betnesky from HNG concrete to do some concrete work this summer and trusted him fully as he is quite a sweet talker. This ad was posted on craigslist- however this ad has been removed since.
On his facebook page under Lonny Betnesky his work is very attractive so please do not be carried away. He did such a shabby job and infact made a mess of our property. Innocently and in good faith we paid him the entire amount upfront as we trusted him when he said that he would come and fix it. He has not shown up or returned any of our texts or messages.
Not only did we loose money but now have had to hire another company to fix the damage he has done. Very disappointing. I read a few complaints about him recently and wish I had done my due deligence before hiring him.
By all means PLEASE stay away from this company or him. I learnt that he has operated under different companies before so he might do the same again. I see that someone else has complained too.
The pictures he uses in his ads are taken from Burnaby Blacktop. He lost this company a lot of money.
Also he does work mainly for cash- he puts a GST number on the invoice but later I found out it is not even registered.
