Let me shorten this version of my story. I'm in GA ... Purchased an hid kit as a BDAY GIFT to my bf, tried to install it SEVERAL times didn't work. Sent it back to them charging me $10 (telling me they would still refund me the $10 regardless) and now they're saying they wont refund it since they didn't find my hid kit defected. Right now the package is in the process of shipping back to me and i'm going to try again - if it still doesn't work, i will report them to the BBB. I mean come on, why would it work when we tried 5 different times the first time!? AND THEY'RE STILL GOING TO SEND ME BACK THE SAME DEFECTIVE HID KIT! If anyone has had a bad experience with this company, EMAIL ME! [protected]@yahoo.com We are witnesses to a bad scam.

I purchased a set of HID lights for my four-door 2008 Jeep Wrangler. Let me tell you, I am no rookie when it comes to installing products such these lights. I installed them upon arrival and they did not work. One light would not even light up and the one would flicker for a minute then go out. I even contacted the company to verify and I did every step exactly as the instructions detailed. I trouble shot the problem to defective ballasts, both of them. This return cost me an additional $10. The second kit arrived and I installed it as well. This time, one light worked and the other did not. I trouble shot the problem t down to a defective bulb. I contacted the company and arranged for a return of my funds. I had to contact them twice because they did not issue a return authorization once they knew I wanted my money back. I returned the entire kit. Now here is my major beef: I am charged 25% of my 149.99 for a restocking fee for a product that did not work! What kind of crap is that? I strongly urge any potential customer to avoid HIDKit.com. Their customer service is horrible, their product quality sucks, and their return policy goes against every principal known to man! I gave up on HID lights for my jeep. I am going to go with some good ol’ fashioned KC lights mounted on my windshield brackets. HIDKit.com BUYERS BEWARE!

I too got ripped off by HIDKit.com

HIDKit.com has been the worst online business I have ever dealt with.

In July of 2013, I purchased 2 sets of HID's for my new car. After installation, one of them would fail when the headlights were warmed up but eventually it stopped working entirely. I emailed HIDKit.com twice for help but never received a response back.
I eventually called them and asked them for help in fixing this problem. Their solution was for me to purchase a $30 wiring harness to fix the problem. I asked them why they didn't tell me I needed this harness when I first bought the headlights and their representative had no answer.

I installed the new wiring harness and the problem persisted. I called them and told them I had enough with these defective lights and I wanted my money back. They refused to refund my money and said if I wanted to have them serviced under warranty I would need to mail it back to them. I agreed to that compromise.

Later that week, they sent me a return authorization number but would not cover the shipping. They demanded I pay for the shipping of these defective lights that were only a few months old. I had enough of this company and just removed them from my car and threw them out.

I would strongly recommend people avoid dealing with HIDKit.com. Their service is awful, they are rude on the phone and they do not respond to emails. There are a lot of other companies out there that I would suggest you try instead of HIDKit.com.
