I received the phone call from the company Hewitt Capital. I had dealing with them and now they continued to call me and asked to pay for their services. But I had already paid and I didn’t get where my money went. I tried to call them, but the phone number was busy all the time. No email address. I wonder if there are other people, who had the same experience. Can you provide any good piece of advice?

The same thing happened with me as with Shana only the lady's name was Carrie Cook but her number was the same [protected].
I am pretty well versed and can quickly spot these scams but this particular day was a bad day for me so she was able to catch me off guard and got money out of me.
When I realized what had happened, I immediately had my debit card cancelled and am working on getting money back, which by the way, was more than I authorized her to take in the first place. She promised me a paper receipt but naturally I never received one.

Sue this company complain to the consumer financial protection bureau
I revived a miss call that led to a voice mail telling me I needed to contact this law firm before they file a lawsuit against me and garnish my wages. I called ?[protected]? and spoke to a woman named Conrad she told me she was a law firm attempting to collect $132 debt. That I committed fraud against the original debitor and if I didn’t make payments arrangements with her. Her law firm will be filing a suit in my county to garnish my wages. That I would be paying $900.00 for Attorny fees. I told her she was a debit collector and she was impersonating a law firm.
