Luximo 3-Piece Leather Recliner Lounge Suite

Mechanical failure in recliner chairs, one that has barely been used. Warranty was for 12 months on mechanisms and the things failed within 6 months approx of warranty end.

Contacted Harvey Norman and complained and supplied photos.

Apparently the supplier Dixie Cummings believes we have been "lounging" on the chairs instead of sitting on them? We are 67 and 61 respectively and purchased this firm upright suite as we dont and cant "lounge"

The mechanisms cause the chair to bang as they close and they dont close flush but have a angle where one corner sits out. Its the same corner/side on both recliners seems bit strange that they are both like that in the same spot and time frame? We believe it is not fit for purpose as the recliners cant be used satisfactorily in this condition. A recliner should be able to reclined in.

Claimed loss: At a cost of $6876.00 for the suite we believe the recliners should have lasted longer than the warranty time frame and we would certainly have NOT purchased them if we had expected them to fail just after 12 months !!

Desired outcome: Fix the mechanisms !! you know we expected that we were purchasing a decently made suite from a reputable company but in hind site would have been better at Fantastic furniture .
