They repaired my chimney, their repairs did not work as advertised to me and now my fireplace is not usable as it was before they did the work and I have been told that it may not be safe to use. They are very smooth at talking you into anything and try to bring their faith into it to make you feel good about them. Don't be fooled, they do not know what they are doing. They do not get certifications to keep up with the latest practices in their business.
It will now cost me twice as much to fix the chimney back to it's original state. Had they done the work correctly to begin with it would have cost a little more but not as much as it will now. I would highly recommend avoiding this company.

I dont know when this post was made or by whom, however, Guardian Chimney Service has been professionally serving homeowners for more than 20 years. If this person would have contacted us, and given us the opportunity see what the problem was we would have absolutely made it right. Unless the homeowner did not get the chimney swept every year (as they are supposed to, even when they have had their chimney relined). And unless they had a resulting chimney fire because they did not have their chimney swept, which is not to be faulted to Guardian Chimney. Home maintenance is exactly that, the responsibility of the home owner. Problems that arise from your NOT maintaining your new flue liner, are not the fault of the installers. Most homeowners understand that, when we write in bold print on the invoice to HAVE THE NEW LINER SWEPT EVERY YEAR to maintain warranty on the new liner, AND when they sign the document, that means they UNDERSTAND the statement under which their signature is printed.
Lack of homeowner maintenance, is a homeowner issue. Not a service company issue. Guardian Chimney Service has been providing 5 star, white glove service for over 20 years, and still going strong with the blessing of God Almighty.
