Bottom Line...this is the WORST cleaning company ever. Horrible job and even worse customer service!
Surface cleaning is what they do, and even that is done poorly. The first time this company was supposed to come, they were a NO SHOW. When they were 15 minutes late I called and was told that my cleaner did knock on the door and there was no answer. Unfortunately, for them, this was a flat out LIE. I have a dog that barks whenever someone knocks AND I was in the front bedroom getting my child ready during the time they were scheduled to arrive. I proceeded to tell them to have the cleaner come back but then they mysteriously could not locate her. They said that they could come back tomorrow. Are you kidding me? Anyone with young children knows how much work it is to tidy, pack up and leave. This is absolutely NOT acceptable. Right there, my money should have been refunded but Rebecca (the owner) just made excuses for the mysterious behaviour.
The person cleaning your home is supposed to be the same person every time so that they can build a relationship with you and clean your house the way you want it. Unfortunately, I never saw the same person twice over a 2 month period. You are offered a 24-hour guarantee for all areas of your home but when you make a complaint about something, the owner grills you for specifics and denies your money back. I had a problem with a bathroom that was not cleaned and when I brought it to her attention she said that she asked her employee and was told that it was done. Then she herself (the owner) came to check it out, cleaned it again and it still wasn't done properly. At that point I figured if the owner of the company can't even clean, then how are her employees going to be able to do it. Also, the mops they use are absolutely disgusting. I happened to "pop in" near the end of cleaning one day and they were doing the final mop. Most of the floor was missed, the mop was dry and black. Environmentally friendly...I guess if you like to bring the environment into your home by way of filth than it is. And finally, they are very rough. They drop the vacuums on the floor, bang walls and damaged furniture. NO respect.
Cleaners are a dime a dozen so don't settle for this one. Way too much money for what you get.

These liable complaints are written by the sister of a former employee. During the exchange of Green Sweep property and an otherwise amicable interaction with my former employee her sister chose to get involved. I was discussing with my employee standard business practices which the sister did not understand. I am and have always been open to comments, suggestions and differing opinions and regret that someone not involved in the situation is making statements and disparaging comments about my business. I regret any ill will and hope all parties involved can deal with this in a mature and responsible way. While in my offices this woman threatened me in many other ways and I hope she reconsiders this dangerous course of action. This embarrassing display was witnessed by colleagues. It is my hope that I will not have involve my attorneys.

I have had 2 friends work for this company. They have both talked about how Rebecca trash talks her clients by telling her employees how "repulsive" her clients' homes are. If you are offering a cleaning service to someone where you ensure 100% customer satisfaction, calling that customer a "disgusting slob" behind their back seems a bit unprofessional. At one point one of her employees waited outside a client's house that had later on cancelled after 40 minutes of her waiting. Rebecca didn't pay her for that day. So much for "Cancellation policy for any booked 1x or intensive clean is 3 hours billed (at $25/hr) for each staff booked. The Cancellation policy is established to maintain the best staff and to ensure employment standards." I guess Rebecca was more concerned with maintaining her checkbook, than her staff. My friends who had both formally ended their employment through her both had a hard time receiving their last paychecks. They both did, however, amid crude name calling and ridicule. Who knows what else she is up to when she is in your home? I wouldn't trust this woman.

Thank you for your feedback. I am sorry to hear that you were unsatisfied with our services.

I am very familiar with the two previous clients and their inflated one sided stories. "Ptvet" as I recall when we last spoke and I requested not to send my staff into your home again because of your verbal abuse to myself and them. In the more than six years I have owned this business, I have never encountered a client as strangely neurotic and abusive as you. When you hired us to clean your home you said you hoped we clean your home perfectly because you weren't very happy with your last cleaner. You said, she just didn't show up one day and you never heard from her again...I understand why! I followed-up and followed through as I have with all of my clients if there is an issue. Your response every time was control and anger fueled. There was no pleasing you - it was never enough, until I finally said enough. I am not surprised to find such a scathing review from you. Btw, we are still cleaning for your closest neighbour - we can't be all bad :-)
P.S. Complaining seems to be a bit of a hobby of yours.

Angie13, our 24 hour Satisfaction Guarantee does apply and your Mother contacted us several days after the job was complete.

You had arranged this move-in/post renovation cleaning over the phone for your Mother who was the only owner at her home the day we cleaned. I understand the information you received was second hand. As you know the day we came to clean your Mother's home she had also arranged kitchen appliance installers, bathroom fixture fitters and tilers, and a tremendous amount of drywall dust lay everywhere, over everything. You'd asked that my staff stay no longer than six hours. They were able to clean everything you'd asked except the basement bathroom in that time. Your Mother did not mention we missed a second bathroom.

Please see email feedback from one of the staff people that cleaned for your Mom that day:

"The house yesterday was rather nuts it was literally a house still under construction. When we arrived none of the kitchen appliances were installed the guys were still working on it. The tile guy was to come in to finish the tiles in the ensuite bathroom. The central vac was being installed as well as the spindles on the railing. There were a ton of construction guys everywhere for the morning. Only one bathroom had a faucet that was installed. There was no hot water at all in the house. Tons and tons of drywall dust and also the dust from the stairs being finished. It was very difficult to get all the dust up since shop vac didn't get it all and sweeping sent it back into the air. Even after dry mopping it was resettling on the floors even before mopping and of course after mopping. We just did the best we could and changed the water frequently and more often outside banging off the broom and dry mops"

Angie13, I understand your frustration but also also understand this would be and was a VERY difficult cleaning job for any cleaning company. We would have needed many more man hours and a home free of installers walking in and out over previously cleaned floors, etc. to have your Mom's home perfectly cleaned.

Hope this helps,
Rebecca

I am afraid I have to agree with this person. I called this company and spoke with Rebecca, e-mailed her a list of everything that would need to be done and unfortunately the two "cleaning ladies" who showed up did not do the job required. In fact they did not clean two of the bathrooms! The floors were not cleaned properly...the list goes on.
I am sorry that I didn't read this review before I called this company. If I had read this review I would never have called them.
When we called Rebecca to complain and say we were not satisfied, she proceeded to argue and said she would only deduct $15 off the total bill, laughable really. What happened to the 24 hour guarantee?
Save your money and look elsewhere, that's my recommendation.
