Ordered a table 11/4 was charged immediately for it $1400. They promised delivery within 4 weeks. Contacted them after 4 weeks to be told table on it's way. Long story short the table was still at the manufacturer 8 weeks later awaiting freight company to pick it up. Eleven weeks after the order I get a call to say the table is damaged and they can't deliver it afterall. OK I say just refund me and we'll call it a day. No they say that's not their policy. I have to take delivery and then send it back and pay shipping both ways for a table that the freight company tells me is already damaged. To add insult to injury I get a message today to say the CEO has looked at the photos from the freight company and he doesn't think there's damage to the table it's just the distressed finish. The photos that the freight company sent show a huge crack! They are scam artists and not ethical. Search "greatpricedfurniture.com scam" to see identical complaints that follow this pattern. They want to sit on your money for as long as possible. Apparently the CEO sits on the board of the local BBB so you get no luck there and this may explain their BBB rating of A+.

I have to admit I was so completely frustrated with the whole ordeal of this order yesterday it GOT TO ME BIG TIME. I was getting nowhere with the customer service manager that it now seems I struck out prematurely and posted this review. I did not have faith that this company was going to do anything to put this matter right after my experiences over the past 11 weeks of correspondence. I felt that this was only avenue to have my say. I WAS WRONG AND I AM NOW HAPPILY EATING MY WORDS. Fred Rose the CEO, called this morning and apologized for the mess ups and handling of this order and has offered a full refund. He restored my faith in the company I believe he is a genuinely sorry that this had happened and his actions confirm this.

When you buy large ticket items from the internet there is always a degree of trust that is required. There is always a worry at the back of your mind whether the company will deliver on it's promises. My buying experience with this company was bad and it led me to very suspicious and believe I was being scammed. I think the customer service did not help this. They were polite but ineffectual. They seemed powerless and unwilling to make judgement calls when things went wrong. I would recommend that if you are experiencing any long drawn out issues with your order that you take them directly to Fred. I wish I had done this a lot earlier and I would have saved the stress of the past few months. YOU CAN TRUST THIS COMPANY but I have to be honest and say they need to sort out communication between shipping and haulers and within their internal departments.

I ordered a dining room set in February 2011. GPF.com took my money immediately but I never received the set. Finally, in May, I got a delivery date...3 months later! The truck came with only half of the 8 chairs I ordered. It is now mid July and the company STILL has not produced the other 4 chairs. This is 5 months now that I cannot sit my family down at the dining table. I am at a loss. I don't even want the set anymore because I feel cheated by this company. Any suggestions on recourse? I am considering packing it into a truck myself and delivering it directly to them and demanding a refund!

I placed an order online in January for a bed bench for my wife's birthday. Got a call about 10 days later from GPF saying it was going to take over six weeks to get it to me. I politely canceled the order. It's now March and they haven't refunded my $781. I called and spoke to Cindy who said the refund was "approved" but not "completed, " that she'd send a note to the Financial Department, and that the refund would post to my account by Friday 3/4. (She was very nice on the phone). That didn't happen. I'll call Monday to see what's going on and report back.

I’m Antoine Artis, an Active Duty military veteran of 12 yrs who is currently deployed. On Sep. 27, I purchased an AICO Villa Valencia Low Poster Bed - King Size for $2608.20 from gpf website to be delivered to my residence. It's now three months later, and I have received nothing after a promise on their site of 1 1/2-4weeks. There have been numerous attempts on my behalf to communicate with Mrs. Cindy Wright to get a positive outcome on this situation. To no avail, I haven’t been able to get a straight answer or solution. She has been prompted on several occasions, and all I receive are cookie cutter responses regarding my order. To sum it all up, her communication with me has been abysmal. I am completely frustrated with my experience dealing with this company. After correspondence with Mr. Fred Rose (president) two weeks ago, I was assured that by Friday 16DEC11 I would be contacted and e-mailed with the freight carrier's info. I was wrong again. I'm at a loss, and would like this situation dealt with immediately!

Ordered product in January, found that product was discontinued. Emailed, and phoned numerous times to request refund to credit card. Told numerous times that it was in the finance departments hands. Was given run around for many months. Finally disputed with credit card company. I would stay away from this company at all costs. Just do a search and you will see quite a few complaints related to this company. Buy local. You have been warned, this is a shady company!

I have same Issue I ordered two twin platform bed...I just received only one and didn't received second one.
By the time I was working with customer service company goes bankrupt .So no one resolve my problem...
I call the new company brought Greatpricefurniture but NO LUCK...I am still waiting for my second twin bed If any one can help me...

I placed an order with Great Priced Furniture over the phone on October 21, 2011 for an AICO Trevi Dining Room Table with 10 chairs, china cabinet, sideboard and mirror and was told the furniture was in stock. The sales associate Linda Biggs was who placed my order was professional and helpful. That was the last good experience I had with this company. They guaranteed shipment for Thanksgiving if items were purchased by October 31st. A week before Thanksgiving Day, I received a call from Cindy Wright to tell me that there had been an issue with the order and that it would not arrive in time for Thanksgiving, but probably the first week of December. I spoke to Fred Rose (The President) and Linda on December 2nd and asked if could change style to AICO Oppulente and they agreed and promised a delivery time frame of mid-January. I assumed that they would send me an updated receipt but of course I didn’t receive a receipt. On Christmas Day I received a call from GE Capital Retail Bank stating I was past due. I apply for credit because they offered 6-months with no finance charge. Now keep in mind I did not receive the Dining Room Set but they had automatically charge the credit card for the first order that I did not receive. Things got worse from that point. I continue to receive calls and finally a past due letter from GE with a late fee. To protect my rights and credit I disputed the charge with GE (This is the first time I've never disputed a transaction).I contacted Great Priced Furniture by phone and e-mail on December 27th to cancel the order and requested that I receive a confirmation letter stating order was cancelled. I left several messages for the Cindy Wright (Customer Service Manger) to call me regarding this issue but she never returned phone calls or answers any of my e-mails. Finally on January 3, 2012 I called again and was transfer to Fred who promised that he will process the cancellation and that he will send me confirmation on company header. It’s now January 21st and I have not received the confirmation letter and I still have a balance on the GE account. On January 9th I contacted the company by e-mail asking them to confirm cancellation. Linda the sale associate forward e-mail to Cindy (CSR manager) asking her to confirm request.
I have never filed a complaint but today I’m filing my first complaint with the Better Business Bureau in North Carolina, as this is not a trustworthy company. Please if you considering buying furniture on-line, do not consider Great Priced Furniture! They are the worse on-line company. They have false advertising, the worse customer service department and a President that will give excuses and false promises that he does not keep. I was hesitated doing business with this company and I should have trusted my intuition.

I work for a reputable financial institution and it takes 48-72 hours to process a refund Not weeks!"

It seems they always have computer glitches or some sort of miscommunication .
I paid 2500$ in September, they withdraw the money in 1 day. Three months passed without them delivering the furniture. I requested refund over month ago and I haven't got my money back yet.
From other reviewes this seems to be a pattern. Save your self the headache and don't buy from this shady company

I got the same problem with this company.

Agree with the this, I had the same problem. I requested a refund over a month ago and they still haven't given me my money back.

I have a similar situation, I placed my order for an AICO desk on September 23 2011 for about 2500$, after waiting for three months and multiple phone calls and emails and promises that my order will be shipped I decided to cancel the order and request a refund. I requested a refund over three weeks ago and the situation has not been resolved yet, when I called last week they said that my refund was approved and will be issued immediately, still a week later no refund or even an email to explain what is happening. This company has extremely poor customer service and will never recommend it to anybody.

This situation has been resolved as of 09JAN12. I was issued a full refund in a timely manner after I requested, so I'm happy with the outcome. For the inconvenience, Mr. Rose offered me a discount for any future purchases from his site. greatpricedfurniture.com is a reputable business, they just ran into a road bump involving the freight company for one of the companies. which supply them furniture. I would still purchase from GPF as they do have a wide selection.

Please note that this matter will be resolved to the customers complete satisfaction today. The credit will be issued today. This was a matter of miscommunication as the request was lost in a computer glitch. As soon as the credit is issued the customer will be receiving a confirmation email as well as a phone call.

The issue was a break down in comunication, our emails were being caught in client's spam filter. The item was discontinued by the manufacture and the refund was issued promptly. This matter was resolved to clients complete satisfaction

My name is Fred Rose, I am the President of GreatPricedFurniture.com We do have an issue with chairs the valued client purchased of which the manufacture sent an incorrect replacement part. We are in communication with the client, we have sent the needed part via overnight service and will have a Furniture Tech at the ready to install the needed part. It is not likely but if for any reason the part does not resolve the matter to the clients complete satisfaction, we will sent a complete replacement at no additional cost to the client. In addition, client has been offered a partial refund due to the inconvenience. It is our goal to insure all valued clients are completely satisfied with their purchases and we will not rest until this matter is resolved.

Be careful before you order from this company. They promise fast delivery with excellent customer care. It has been over 4 months and I have still not received a completed order. The customer service is rude, and the owner and CEO, Fred Rose, needs to improve the quality of his services. I would warn any future buyers to look elsewhere to buy their products.
