Grande Vista Windows & Doors review: Poor Installation 1

Hired Grande Vista to change out windows. They installed windows throughout whole house without sill support, insulation or trim. Contacted them about side by side sliding windows that wouldn't lock because they were bowed in at the center. Was insulted and yelled at by the owner, told I didn't know what I was talking about, told the windows were installed properly, offered to sell me new windows to replace the windows they just replaced because the windows supposedly had a manufacturing defect. Their installer came out to look at the side by side sliding windows and removed the exterior cladding so window would close. Had windows looked at by several other contractors who all said the same thing...very poor installation, no sill support leading to sag, no insulation, no exterior trim and exterior cladding had nothing to do with improper operation. I would reccomend NEVER using this company. They should be OUT OF BUSINESS!

In Grande Vista's 15-year history we have never failed in fulfilling our promise of excellence, quality and unmatched service to our customers and stakeholders. Our customers needs have been indelibly etched in our companies mission and vision. Our unwavering commitment to surpassing our customers needs are the biggest testament to why Grande Vista has survived as a small business despite, a difficult recession and the lowest percentage of application for building permits seen in 20 years. The clients complaint posted herein was resolved to the best of our abilities, following the soundest building practices, cognizance of the home's architectural integrity and the highest standards of customer service. In the final analysis, our countless attempts to meet the customers needs became an exercise in diminishing returns. It is with the aforementioned knowledge that Grande Vista opted to refund the customers payment. Grande Vista, also opted to participate in arbitration with the the Denver BBB which closed this complaint as resolved. Just as families have narratives that hold them together or tear them apart, so too, will our future interactions as a business. Grande Vista will not succumb to unsubstantiated attempts to unhinge our solid reputation in the community. instead we will protect our brand integrity and continue to serve a community that has embraced us for over a decade. Ultimately we understand that our primary role is in creating balance between prioritizing people and the business functions that make us viable. By doing so Grande Vista will be fully capable of committing resources to refining services and improving our products, without ever losing site of who is ultimately responsible for our ongoing success- Our Customers!
