GoToQuiz used to be really awesome, but lately I've noticed that all the quizzes are getting cut into smaller parts. It's been happening for about two years now, and honestly, it's getting pretty annoying. I really hope they fix this issue soon because it's taking away from the overall experience.

There's a bunch of quizzes on this site, some are cool and some are lame. The cool ones are a blast and the lame ones just kill a bit of time, so it ain't no biggie like buying a fancy car.

The page where you make your quizzes could use some fixing up. They tell you to slap a link to your website on the quiz, but most of the time the URLs get all messed up with this "Invalid URL" nonsense when you try to use 'em for the link.

I gotta say, GoToQuiz is pretty cool and all, but man, they really dropped the ball when it comes to handling accounts. I mean, seriously, I made an account a while back and the password I chose was a real brain-buster. But then, life happened, and I got myself a shiny new computer. So, naturally, I wanted to log in to my GoToQuiz account and relive the good ol' days. But guess what? I totally blanked on my password. Like, completely forgot it, dude.

I tried everything, man. I typed in every possible combination of letters and numbers that could have been my password. But no dice. It was like my attempts were just floating in the void, never to be recognized by the GoToQuiz gods. And let me tell you, that was a major bummer.

Now, here's the thing. I had given these guys my email address when I signed up, right? So, naturally, I thought they'd have a nifty little option to reset my password. I mean, come on, it's like Account Management 101, right? But nope, nada, zilch. They didn't have anything like that. And that, my friends, is a real missed opportunity.

And get this, it even goes as far as sayin' somethin' like "you should kill yourself right now." Can ya believe that? I sure couldn't. It's just plain hurtful and unnecessary.

But wait, it gets worse! If ya dare to speak up 'bout how messed up a quiz is in the comments section, well, get ready to be harassed, my friend. Ain't no option on that site to report them nasty comments or them quizzes either. It's like a recipe for disaster, I tell ya. How's a person s'posed to feel safe and respected in a community like that?

Now, I ain't tryin' to bash the whole dang site 'cause I reckon there might be some decent quizzes on there. But dang it, they gotta do somethin' 'bout them hurtful results and them bullies in the comments. It just ain't right, plain and simple. So, if you're lookin' for a place to take quizzes and have a good time, I reckon ya might wanna look elsewhere 'cause GoToQuiz ain't the place for ya, my friend.

I ain't gonna lie, I'm ready to take down this review if GoToQuiz gets back to me. I mean, I ain't asking for much, just a little response. But let me tell ya, I've sent them not one, but two DMCA takedowns. The first one was way back on September 22, 2022, and the second one was on January 27, 2023. I used the email address they told me to use, which is ***@gotoquiz.com. They even got it written on their site, right here: https://www.gotoquiz.com/contact.html.

Now, here's the thing. I'm the one who created, owns, and sells the stuff they're just giving away for free. Yeah, you heard me right. They're straight up giving away my stuff without my permission. And guess what? It's the same dang URL both times! Can you believe that? And it's still up there in February 2023. They opened my emails in October 2022 and January 2023, but they haven't said a word to me. That copyright-infringing URL is still active, like nothing happened.

Hey, GoToQuiz, listen up. You're legally bound to respond to DMCA takedowns. It's part of the deal, man. It's downright unprofessional and unethical to just ignore those requests. You claim to be all DMCA compliant and whatnot, but if you don't respond to DMCA requests, you ain't compliant at all. So, get your act together, GoToQuiz. Show some respect and do what you're supposed to do.

This site lets some of the most ignorant, childish, and self-absorbed people ever to make their presence known on the Internet to post the most meaningless, amateurish, and spiteful surveys I've ever seen and does NOTHING to keep them in check. Sure, most of these individuals may very well be moody, poorly parented teenagers and/or bored, immature twenty-somethings, but age is no excuse for crass obliviousness or self-indulgence or any other kind of low standards. The poor grasp of grammar that most of these quiz makers demonstrate particularly shows just how little they themselves care about the quality of the tests they devise, much less the site's own barely existent moderators.

Take, for example, this glorified griping session in which the creator is ultimately whining about a crummy day he/she is apparently having:

Then there's this gem in which the foul-mouthed, grammatically challenged creator asks if the test taker "sucks" as a person, which most of the sixteen commentors rightfully deride. The description of the survey alone speaks volumes of where the guy's head was when he made his little magnum opus.

The site even hosts several quizzes where the creators blatantly ask takers "Do I hate you?" as though they even know (or care) who's on the other end. Here are just a few examples of such wastes of webspace.

Personality surveys/quizzes are supposed to be a fun little break from reality for whoever takes them, demographics (age, race, gender, etc.) aside. If those who make such tests can't take the whole creation process seriously, though?especially as far as said surveys' content is concerned?then what's the point of such people making and posting such works for all the world to see in the first place, much less in anyone taking them? I certainly don't see why anyone in his or her right mind would want to take quizzes like the ones I've referenced here, nor can I see why anyone would give GoToQuiz.com any score on any review site higher than one star if this is the kind of material they regularly host. It just goes to show how few their standards are (if they have any at all) and how open they are to allowing ANYONE to post the meanest-spirited, most thoughtless garbage he or she wants to in a world that's already rotten and ill-natured enough as matters stand.
