For years this company has been trying to get my company to pay for a service never ordered nor authorized by me. Despite talking with them every 6 months on the phone and asking for the voice recording they keep saying they have, they have never been able to provide me with it. Every 6 months they change the date on their fax letterhead and send another "3rd warning" notice and we go through the same thing over and over again. First it was Amanda, then Eddie, then Jeff, then a different Amanda and now I am back with Eddie. How the heck do I get rid of this? Is this not harassment?
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
Lisa from Globex has been calling me for months looking for payment of $699 for something I never ordered and was recently told that I would have to pay for another year of this 'subscription'. There was no information sent to me regarding their 'product' or confirmation of having ordered this service. After reading the complaints regarding this company, I advised Lisa that I would not be paying for something that I did not order. She called me a few days later to play the original recording in which they asked for my address and name and that they would send the invoice. She has now threatened to send the invoice to 'a third party'.
Anyone receiving a phone call from these people should pay very close attention to what they say.
I received an invoice on June 12 asking for approximately $600.00 dollars. It took for ever to get back to them as all you got was a voice. Finally I blocked my phone # and was able to reach some one. They agreed to find the recording and play it for me in two weeks. On July 27 I finally got the phone call, as above mentioned all you here is confirmation of address and phone number no real agreement to pay invoice. When I questioned Lisa what they were advertising on my behalf she said Automotive and Gas service. When I informed her that we were not an automotive business she said the file must be mixed up and she would get back to me in a week. It will be interesting to here what excuse they come up with. I refuse to pay this invoice and will get a lawyer involved if necessary.

I wrote on their webpage trying to redeem their so called company, you all should do it as well. This company is terrible and everyone should know what their up to.

These people from Globex have been harassing us for several months now as well, its getting ridiculous. And it makes you feel like you've done something wrong when in reality their wording things in a way so you give them the answer they want even if its not giving them authorization. They played the tape back to us of me "giving them authorization" I did no such thing. You can tell i have no clue what their talking about and i cant understand their accent. And all i gave them was our address, because i have hundreds of trades asking for our address to drop things off or pick things up. Don't trust they people, don't pay them make it clear that you do not authorize anything. Even when you look up they're website and put in your username and password, its all crap there's nothing on the website, you cant even access your so called advertizing page. And the best part is they got our company name wrong and my name spelt wrong on the invoices.
Globex & U is a complete scam.
I tried asking for proof of ordering or a purchase order, and they said that they only do verbal agreements.
Someone named Eddie Jones played me audio of a Manager in my company confirming our address only.
No proof of ordering this product at all.
Don't pay any of their BS invoices.
Globex & U called a few months ago telling me that they will be sending an invoice for payments of the 2nd year of a 2 year contract authorized by the president of the company (they gave the name of the president - what CAN'T you find on the internet?). We have no record of this company anywhere in our database and have obviously NOT authorized any services they claim to offer. After receiving their invoice, I sent them (and the Canadian Anti-Fraud Centre) a letter stating I will not pay the invoice since what they told me on the phone was false and misleading. They called again today and was demanding we pay their invoice but hung up after putting them on hold to speak to the president.
This company is definitely out to scam unassuming people. Be aware!
Globex and U has been calling my business also they. Globex and U is a scam plain and simple. It is hard to imagine what kind of person is willing to do this instead of getting a real job. At least people who shoplift and such don't stick around to harass you if they can't steal anything good from you. Globex and U is one of many many scams that operate in montreal for some reason it is easier for these sorts of criminals to operate out of that region.
Guess what. Globex & U called me today and told me I need to pay a bill, I didn't know who they were when they explained I told them that I don't work in a business and I work for the federal government. one man, not sure what his name was, but he had this condescending tone towards my accent I guess. He asked me for my email, to show me what I ordered, then they sent me a PDF file as an Invoice. Invoicing a company has my last name and a former address of mine I moved out of back in 2007. How rediculous! The ionvoice shows that on January 20th, 2012 (my business) ordered a Canadian Business Listings Online. Should I call the police on them?
