My son has a car loan, which I co-signed with Georgia's Own. Over a year ago we had Georgia's Own setup an auto draft which we signed so they would be responsible for deducting payment for his car. This made it easier for him... until this past September. He received a late payment notice in the mail, which had us confused, I checked with him and he had more than enough funds for payment. I contacted Georgia's Own through their message board and ask them to explain what had happened with no response for a week. I contacted them again to remove the late fee charges as well since this was not our fault. Another week went by and I noticed the reversed amounts, took away the late fee, re-drafted the amount and now all is back to normal on their end, but they ruined our credit rating and now both of us have to fix their mess. They never called me, emailed me to admit it was their mistake internally. We were never late with payment, end of story.
Desired outcome: We want them to call each agency to repair our credit because of their mistake.
