My order was placed on August 26, 2022. I ordered a set of the breast oil - 3 pack, and Glow Brightening Serum, which I still have not received as of December 13, 2022. I placed my order on the organic life blog site, now it looks like there is a new site: genetixorganics.com. The paypal payment I made has disappeared, which I believe means their account was cancelled. I emailed every email I could find for the company and it either bounces back or there is no response. There is no phone number to contact. I found an instagram account for the founder and skin care line, sent messages, none of which have been responded to. There seems to be no way to get a hold of the company to get my products, which is very disappointing. It appears this has happened before because of other comments I saw on facebook and the fact that the paypal account has been cancelled. It's just plain rude and disrespectful that they don't respond. She posts on instagram plenty and has magazine accolades, but can't fulfill orders? It makes no sense! I truly would like to try this product so it is upsetting to have such bad service and not received what I paid for without explanation.

Desired outcome: I would very much like a response and explanation. Also, I would still like to receive the products I ordered as well as a refund for the poor customer service.

I've just emailed the link tara has included in her response to see where they are at with shipping if i get a response. It's been a month for me. I'm ok with the wait time if I get a response you know as I wasnt aware of that when I purchased, didnt see anything mentioned re long shipping times.

Tara Mackey of Genetix Organic is a fraud and scam artist.

I placed an order in September 2021, which is almost two and a half years ago. Which makes the excuses of “delayed shipping by several weeks or any outstanding orders will be sent asap” completely irrelevant.

I’ve tried countless times to get in contact via email and social media messages, which has led to me being ignored and blocked.

I’ve contacted the shipping company fbazoom, who are unable to help me as I don’t seem to have an order in their system.

Why is that? Changing shipping companies and changing website and email addresses constantly? Sounds a bit strange.

There are countless other customers who have been scammed the same as me! I’ve spoken to many of them myself and they have been left without orders and without any answers.

It’s extremely frustrating not getting any responses, but seeing the amount of others who are being treated the same is what is really infuriating.

Please think twice about ordering from this company to save yourselves a headache.

I have been experiencing the same exact issue! So frustrating! I don't know how she is getting all these rave reviews when you can't even get you product or a response.

Apparently im not the only one! I ordered during the Black Friday sale over a month ago and still haven’t received my order. I’ve messaged and emailed multiple times and nothing. Super frustrating.

Lori, Black Friday deals go out Monday. Orders for enhancement oil, as stated on the product page, are waitlist orders. They may take 6-9 weeks to ship during holiday seasons! I know you’re a long term customer and we thank you for your patience with us as we grow 🤍

Hey there - CEO of the company here! This just got brought to my attention! If you for some reason did not receive these products can you please email me at the email on my Instagram (I can’t leave it here) and we’ll get a replacement sent out to you this coming week! We have a different shipping company now than we did then - thank you!

I ordered and received my product before the 6-9 week waitlist shipping time and it WORKS! I don’t think a lot of people realize that the product says it takes that long to ship which of course was confusing to me. I certainly didn’t til I reached out, but it is there on the product page If you double check. I was able to get an answer by reaching out to info@fbazoom.com which is also on the Genetix website under the FAQ page (kinda hidden). That’s the company that ships. I don’t think it’s a scam: I think they sometimes just get more order than they can fill and have to make more.

If you ordered late October, your order goes out on Monday - just packed 10 boxes of enhancement oil myself that’s getting dropped off :) if, however, your refund was processed already, we’ve un-waitlisted your order. I honestly do not know if I should feel relieved or even more disappointed and angry with this whole situation after reading all those comments. I have ordered from this company before in the past and I've received the products on time and with no issues. I made an order on May 6th 2023 and after two weeks with no updates I decided to message them. I received a response suggesting that there was an issue and that it would be resolved soon. Which did not happen and after two weeks I decided to post a public comment (which is now disabled btw) on the page and then I decided to message Tara personally and I actually got a response from her and we even chatted for quite some time and she told me she was so behind and that everything was stressful. She assured me that it would be shipped within a week. Looking back at it I think she only responded to me because of the public comment I made. In any case there was no update and I had to email the shipping company and they kept telling me the same thing that they were waiting to receive the products to ship. I gave up and its been five months now and I have no product and no refund. I find this treatment beyond unacceptable. I messaged them twice on their website and no response. Then instagram and no response. I cannot believe she has time to post and keep advertising her company when she cannot even ship the orders to people that have already ordered.

You’re not alone! I’m surprised she actually responded to you. You can’t trust a company that turns off commenting the way she has. I don’t understand how she can go on doing this to paying customers

Yes I am actually quite surprised too looking back at it. I think probably the only reason she did it was because I made a public comment and I don't know maybe she thought I'd start commenting more so she decided to message me. When I saw it I thought "wow she must really care about her clients" Couldn't be further from the truth.. Needless to say she never responded to me again after that and yes you are right no you cannot trust a company like that. It is unbelievable though that she keeps on going unbothered posting everyday like everything is fine on her personal ig. The least she could do is issue a public statement about the situation. I think we should do something about it or else she will continue scamming people without a care in the world. Truly awful and immoral business practises.

100% . I was her nanny and just quit today. I had to call the cops, because she’s refusing to pay me, verbal harassment, etc.

I should have known back when I started Jan/2023. She gave me some free product and asked me to tag her on IG. I did. and then got a bunch of messages from those that had purchased her products, wanting to know how I received it, because they never did.

She is a narcissist and definitely not well, drugs, compulsive liar, etc.

I’m afraid for her child, as he’s only 2. The only reason I stayed for 9 months, is because I care so much for the little boy.

Be thankful you didn’t get her products, it’s literally store bought olive oil with some dried flowers in it. Her work station is absolutely filthy and she never cleans the giant Plastic barrel , where she stores the oil. It’s all the same oil for each product. Made in a gross garage. I would never pay Money for any of it. After I saw her work station process and realized what it was, I stopped using it.

CEO of the company here - probably someone this person never expected to comment. It was recently brought to my attention and has been reported as fraudulent and harassment. Not a word true and just so everyone knows, we make the product in a local organic kitchen lovingly by hand. I hire local college kids who’s parents were affected by homelessness, from a program local to San Diego. It is organic food quality standard, which is higher than cosmetic standard.

I also ordered through this site for the BOGO deal back in May. It is now almost October and have never received my products. I sent numerous emails, no response..put a claim through my bank and they credited my account for a month, but the charge claim was reversed a few days ago. I just sent another email to theorganiclife, ie Tara Mackey, and have not received any response yet. I'm about to call my bank again to see if they actually did any fraudulent research or were able to reach this company because this is ridiculous. I had ordered from them before in the past years and actually received products so I don't know if something has happened in the past year where they are not fulfilling customer orders or responding to customers? I am not happy.

After contacting my bank they informed me the transaction is a square cash or a peer to peer transaction that they cannot do a dispute against. Wow

How can we do something about it? She is featured on Forbes and Harpers Bazaars. I tried writing on instagram but most pages do not allow comments. I think it is ridiculous that she has scammed so many of us and she keeps on advertising the product and luring new customers in. I also never received a single response nor my money back.

The same thing has happened to me, but with the current genetix site. I ordered the same product and never received it or any reply to my emails or Instagram messages. It seems they are just taking people’s money and not sending out products!
