I bought this washer one year and three months ago, and from one day to the next, it will no longer spin. I called GE Cares, they scheduled an authorized technician to come out and take a look, which cost me $70, just to have him tell me that I need a new motor at a cost of $420! Might as well advertise these washers as "disposable units" since I will probably end up buying another washer, different brand of course!
Steer clear of this product.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
Never buy this band again.
