Should be a replacement recall for this agitator. When i went online to see about a replacement i was bombarded with others having the same issue. The agitator was poorly designed. Clothing gets caught under the fins tearing the clothing and the fins eventually break off.
Do you have another agitator that will fit this model? the washer still works well but without an agitator...The clothing is not getting clean.
Please let me know if one of your other agitators will fit my machine. Thankyou.
Same problem with my LG. Tech came out was told by LG to put glue under the impeller. He returned with the big bottom piece and another impaler. Second time he came out replace another impeller and put put water proof tape under it. Did not call for about six months. In the meantime the towels continue to rip up. Now LG says its off their wuarantee never mind never fixed it. Been out six times Now its Lowes time they get three times. Lowes tells me different things depending on what you talk to was told its a manufacturer defect not going to cover it despite what written paper says. From what I figured LG has paid $400 dollars. Now Lowes turn at about $150 a wack. Between the two of them they could have fixed the problem. All my towels are shredded. I guess it is to much to ask if you spend money in a new washing machine. Its suppose to wash. Well between tearing up towels and having to wash clothes four times to get them clean because it uses just barely enough water to cover the clothes. Some clothes on the top never got a drop of water on them. I am retired so I have all day to deal with these people. I feel sorry for those who are working. I am just short of mailing my clothes to LG and Lowes. All I get is I am sorry. Just fix your washing machine. Wish we could find someone to get a class action lawsuit together. Doesn't appear we can do that unless you have a lot of money.
Agree on all counts. I have now replaced the agitator 3 times and two of the arms are bent again.
