Garn Restoration was hired after our house fire for restoration and rebuild. The house was almost completely destroyed by fire/smoke/water damage. The house had to be gutted and stripped down to the studs. Garn did not clean the smoke damage to our basement although they were paid by insurance to clean it, but instead just sprayed Kilz over it. They hired a plumber who installed a new sewer pipe in our basement that exits through the poured concrete wall and connects to the septic line. Garn Restoration and Plumb Crazy Plumbing failed to seal around the pipe and the county building inspector passed the inspection.
Less than two years later, we discovered mushrooms growing out of our basement carpet. We discovered water leaking into the basement around the pipe between drywall and concrete wall. The leak was not noticed due to the pipe being behind a wall. Our drywall, carpet and padding was soaked and mold and mildew began growing. Garn Restoration and Plumb Crazy Plumbing denied replacing the pipe although I had pictures to prove they did and the code on the pipe proved the date of manufacture. Garn's insurance adjuster sent an engineer to our house to investigate. His report proved the pipe was not sealed around it. The engineer also addressed all of my other complaints including the smoke damage/odor that is still present in our home. He confirmed all of my complaints. There are also several issues with our home now that are code violations, from the work that Garn Restoration performed.

When Garn Restoration took clothing and items to be cleaned after the mold was discovered, they stated they would have them dry cleaned. Instead, they washed NEW blue jeans with light colored items, and ruining many items. These items are now stained with blue jean dye and are ruined. They washed a $50.00 mattress pad that clearly states "Spot Clean or Professionally Clean only" and that among many other items are ruined now.

Garn Restoration, Plumb Crazy Plumbing and Garn's insurance denied our claim for damages and refuse to pay for the damages that exceed $50, 000.00!

Personal vendetta?! You must be an employee or friend. When I filed a lawsuit for damages, they filed bankruptcy. Yep, "A1" company! An "A1" company doesn't make errors. My proof is in the photos and videos.

I've had them do plenty of work. A1 service. This doesn't sound like Garn. They have been very professional and their workmanship has been superb. Sounds like there is a personal vendetta attached to all of this. Whenever I pointed out an error, they were quick to fix it.
