These people stole my money. They charged me for a product I didn't even order and then gave me the runaround for 3 months to get me past a supposed 90 day dispute time so I couldn't get my money back. These people are thieves and I hope they have a hard time sleeping at night. What goes around comes around.

I cancelled my debit card after reading all of your complaints on my 14th day trial period. I’m still waiting on my sample products (it’s been 20 days since I’ve ordered). The company must charge the $87.13 before sending you your "free” samples. I did get charge the $3.95 shipping for my "free" sample plus $2 for foreign transaction fee (total of $5.95). This product must suck if they have to trick people into buying. I don’t even think I would try it if it came in the mail. What a waste of everyone’s money and time. The BBB gave this company an F.

if you ordered on a debit card, it will show up on your bank account as a POS purchase ( and unfortunately that doesn't mean Piece of [censored], because that would suit this company well) but, the bank can't stop the purchases that show up this way. The only way to stop it is to cancel your debit card and have a new one issued to you.

I am ashamed to say that I also, ripped off by this company. I had to close a long time account with a excellent bank in order to keep my money secure. This so called company continued to abstract funds from my account, on three different times, even after I mailed several letters informing them of my cancellation. I was unable to reach anyone by phone, and the bank even gave me a hard time. I was forced to make changes to maintain my future. I sure won';t try anything like this ever again.

I absolutely can't stand people who make a living off other people... this "company" is a scandelous bunch of cowards, and their phone numbers are phony and get you nowhere and so it the site they say you can check your order status with. I got the free trial with them as well, and only paid $3.95 for it a few weeks ago, and now there's a charge on my card for $87.67. I've tried the numbers and web sites and can't get anywhere. I imediately called my bank and they said when there's a GB on the preauthorization next to their number it's usually a fruadualnt company. So, more than likely the stuff they're selling isn't ligit either. I'd stop taking it if I were you.

My debit card is closed and I'm getting a new one... and I'm going into the bank tomorrow to file a paper to get that money back... since I didn't give the permission for the charge. Spread the word, these people are scammers. Hope they rot.

I HAD SAME RESULTS AS SOME ABOVE! SENT FOR TRIAL @ $3.95. WAS CHARGED $83.13. NEVER A CHARGE FOR THE $3.95, I WAS VERY SURPRISED BECAUSE I GOT INFORMATION FROM AN OPRAH SITE! I NEVER HAD A PHONE NUMBER TO CONTACT THEM UNTIL AFTER THE FOURTH SHIPMENT. THEN I CALLED IT TOOK QUITE A WHILE TO EVEN GET THE ADDRESS TO SEND THE PRODUCT BACK, THE BIGGEST REASON WAS I JUST COULDN"T UNDERSTAND THE OPERATOR WITH HER FOREIGN ACCENT.AFTER 20 MINUTES ON THE PHONE I FINALLY GOT IT NOW I HAVE 3 BOTTLES I AM SENDING BACK I HAD A RA# THAT HAD TO BE ON THE OUTSIDE OF PACKAGE. LONG STORY SHORT I WAS CHARGED FOR 4 SHIPMENTS AND SENT BACK 3 AND WAS ONLY GIVEN 1 REFUND OF $87.13. STILL WORKING ON THE OTHERS!THEN ANOTHER SHIPMENT HAS ARRIVED. BACK TO THE PHONE!

My free trial was $2.00, then received a devit on my acoount for $40.00 plus another bottle. The phone number gives you a website you can go to to cancel your order, you can login, but no way to register.

Here's another way: call [protected] and talk to the representative that you want your subscription to be canceled. This is what you can do if it happens that you didn't cancel within the 14 day trial period. No automated messages on this line; thereis a live person who'll will speak to you. Good luck. I hope this help someone.

I have had the same issues with this company. Not only did I email and cancel, I never received the product I cancelled and the membership...cost me $60 and it has been a nightmare trying to get it back. I have read that most people are getting charged for 87 so I called and cancelled my account, got a new card and everything...so they can not "surprise" me again. I am so frustrated and I spoke to Daniel and David...supposedly 2 "supervisors" and they told me that they could not give me the name of the founder of the company, which is hysterical as I got it from the BBB. UGH! So needless to say, I have followed in the footsteps of many others and filed a BBB complaint. hope it works, wish I would have read this stuff first!

I, too, ordered a free trial and receievd another bottle a few weeks later and another bottle today. I thought it was a mistake until I googled the telephone number. I called the number about 10 minutes ago and was told about the 14 day thing to cancel. I called at 8PM with no trouble getting through to spek with Jake. He claims he has cancelled my order and gave me a cancellation number nd aldo an RMA number. He assured me my subscription was cancelled. I then called the Fraud and Abuse Dept for my CC number who will be sending me some forms to dipute these charges. The young lady with whom I spoke told me that this complaint has been coming frquentl. I hope this company goes broke!
Thanks for listening

Same story as everyone else. Thank you all for these comments, I immediately called the number [protected], cancelled what they claimed was my order and then I called my bank reported them to the Fraud department and had them place a disbute on the charge. I cancelled the card so they can not further charge my card.

ATTENTION: If you have been scammed by FWM laboratories Hollywood, Florida, write a letter of complaint to the BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU and make sure to provide all the information from your bank statement, and the nature of the complaint within the body of your letter.

I have been scammed a total of 174.26 by FWM laboratories: TWO charges of 87.13 unauthorized charges to my bank account. I am amidst undergoing a claim fraud process. However, banks can only do so much for the customer against fraud. The best bet is to get in touch with government agencies like BETER BUSINESS BUREAU and other agencies that work to shut down scamming companies like FWM.

Well I got sucked into the scam as well. I started getting 5 calls a night from the Company apparently wanting to get more info on me. I went to my bank right away and told them I had an uneasy feeling about the process, but so far I had only been charged the $4 shipping fee. They advised I cancel my card right away, but I didn't, they also advised that if the Company called again and said I was on a recorded line(which they did) to make it very clear on the recorded line that I wanted to cancel this order and no longer wanted to do any business with them. I did just that the next time they called and then saw the $87 charge hit my account a couple days later, and the supplement arrived in a pretty much unmarked package. I could tell it was a bottle inside the manila envelope and so I took it to USPS unopened, refused the package and kept the original tracking # to track its return.

I then had my bank process the dispute on the $87 from early February, and am now disputing another $40 charge that hit my account this weekend (2/21/09). I went ahead and canceled the debit card to eliminate any additional charges (I should have listened to the bank the first time). I have been credited back by the bank and I believe the Acai Berry Company has 2 months to dispute it with the bank, but the bank knows I canceled the account on a recorded line. I hope my procedure works, but I as well am going to file a BBB complaint and a complaint with the Florida attorney general.

Ok here is my story, in December I ordered the free trial of the Acaiberry product and only paid the $5.95 shipping and handling, that was all I was asked to pay (because well, it's a free trial product, duh). I got my bank statement for January and they had charged $87.13 to my account without my knowledge because supposedly I signed up for a membership when I ordered the free trial product, that makes no sense to me, the purpose of the free trial product was to test out the product and see if I liked it, that makes sense, right?

So anyway, I called the Acaiberry company/FWM laboratories [protected]) to tell them I did not not want to receive the product any more, so they canceled my membership which I was unaware of having, and did not agree to sign up for and told me they would refund me for the that charge of $87.13, I also sent back the free bottle I received and never received any product from them again. It is now the middle of February and I still haven't received my money back for that product they charged me for that I did not receive.

When they charged me the $87.13 it caused my bank account to go negative because I was unaware that they would be charging me monthly and I was not prepared for it and if I had known they were going to do that I would have never even tried the free trial.

I also ordered the free trial of the herbal pills that came with it from another company all I paid was the $3.95 shipping and handling that was asked, they granted me my refund of $99.86 that was charged to my bank account the same way Acaiberry charged me, but how come the Acaiberry company won't refund my money? I have called the FMW laboratories several times and they said the refund was given back to me on the 29th of January and that it is my bank that is holding on to the refund, it is now February 11th and my bank has NEVER taken this long to process a refund. I also asked the FWM laboratories the last time I called about this (which was less than an hour ago) if they could send me a hard copy letter stating that they have processed my refund on their part but this is what I was told by the FMW/Acaiberry representative named Alex "It is not in my interest to so, I can not do that for you, but I assure your refunded has been processed on our part."

So, from what I am hearing, I'm getting a told a big fat lie by this company and I'm really pissed. If they issued the refund then they should have no problem sending me a letter stating they did so, and proving to me that they did give me my refund.

If anyone else is having this problem or any trouble related this this company

please email me at: tabitha018@yahoo.com

I am pretty positive that I am not the only person who is going through this with this company.

I would really like to talk and I need to find out how to go about this situation, because I'm about ready to file a lawsuit on this company. Also, I can never find anyone in that company that speaks good English, it's very frustrating, no offense to people with poor English language, but as far as this company goes, it seems like they do it on purpose so they can turn my words around on me. They are keeping my money illegally, and I want my money back now, they don't deserve to keep my money and I'm am NOT going to pay for anything I didn't receive.

Same rip off. I'm on hold now. I got two charges for $87.13 and have cancelled my debit card. They gave me a "confirmation for a refund" and promised to send me an email. I'm copying this website and sending to the Florida Attorney GENERAL. I'm also sending this to my bank's fraud department who will hopefully give me back my money? Aaaargh.

They got me too. So much for the $3.95. I was also charged $87.13, $2.61, and $0.12. The smaller ones are because I am dealing with a company outside the US, according to my bank. So I don't know how they are manufactured in Florida. I called on Jan. 29 and was told I needed to cancel and that my account will be turned over to another dept who will email me about a refund. Yeah right! Its now Feb 9 and no email yet. I just called again and was told I will get that email soon. I asked to speak to someone in the refund department and was told I could email them. I will try that but they probably don't even check that mailbox so they don't care if we overload it. I guess its worth a try. I have now received 2 bottles and asked about returning the 2nd one. I was told that even then, the refund department would have to decide if I get my money back. BS! I will call my bank tomorrow to see what can be done but I'm thinking BBB complaint is next.

I also ordered a free sample of Acai Berry, about one month ago. I did receive the product 2 weeks later. I never signed that I wanted to continue receiving this product. After getting my free bottle, my husband and I left for a vacation. Upon returning home, two days ago, I learned that FWM laboratories had charged my credit card for two more shipments of Acai Berry ($178). Of course, this was never authorized. I certainly will not be able to pay $178 a month for a product that I do not want to use. I called [protected] and after being put on hold for 15 minutes, the phone was answered by a man with a heavy accent that was hard to understand. He gave me a # to put on the envelope that I was to mail with the unwanted product. He said that I would be sent no more product. I don't believe him. I don't want to cancel my credit card as we pay many of our bills with automatic credit card withdrawal but I may have to. What a Scam!

The same thing happened to me. I ordered the Acai Berry and the Life Cleanse and agreed to try it and pay $3.95 for the shipping on each. I was aware that I had 14 days before I could cancel or else I would be charge 87.14. Ten days went by and nothing in the mail, so I decided to cancel before I would get charged for something I didn't get. I called and couldn't understand the man who spoke a very little english, but I was able to tell him that I didn't want to be charge for both Acai Berry and Life Cleanse and to cancel my account from any future charges and he said that he had now canceled it, but I still had a gut feeling that "that did not go through". Now I noticed that I got charged for 87.14 and call and talked to two people who I had a hard time trying to understand due to their foreign accent and to top it off they put put me on hold for such a long time just to get nowhere with this. I hope they can get caught for the fraud they are doing and ripping off peoples hard earned money.

I also ordered the ACAIBERRY All Natural Cleanse from the internet and my VISA was charged the shipping fee, on 12/03/2008 I was charged the $87.13, also on 12/21/2008 I was charged $87.13, then again today 1/19/2008 they charged my VISA $40. I have called [protected] and receive the message that the mailbox is full and to call back. Each time I have called I get the same message. This is fraud every way you look at it. I need to add to my response- Everyone has to report this to their bank and file a complaint with the BBB, because you WILL NOT get an e-mail within "24-48 hours". And you will never get to speak with a supervisor. They will blow you off every time by telling you "we will submit a ticket to the refund department". They can only about halfway speak English. They may be mentally challenged. I HOPE YOU SEE THIS YOU LYING THEIVES! ( PAUL, JANET, MISTY, RUPERT, RAFAEIL, AND WHOMEVER ELSE I SPOKE WITH!)

I also was charged $3.95 for the free trial and also a Foreign Visa fee. Then 3 weeks later I was charged $87.13 and another Foreign Visa fee. I have tried 3 or 4 times to get through on the [protected] and finally today after being on hold only 3 min I got a real person (Paul) and I cancelled, got a confirmation # and asked about the Foreign Visa fee and was told to talk to my bank, then I asked where the product was shipped from and he said Hollywood, FL. I have never received any product from the company and urge anyone looking into it to not go this route.

I believe the same people are working a similar scam with other weight-loss products called TriSlim and cortislim. You sign up for a "free" sample but have to pay shipping. Thus they have your CC information. In some cases you are charged for more merchandise and in others you are automatically signed up for a fitness mentoring site (two I found were myfitnessmentor.com and fit-fac.com). These come with monthly fees that range from 19.99 to 49.99. In my case I never ordered any free sample so I'm not sure where they got my information from. Myfitnessmentor is located in Utah and I notified the Utah Division of Consumer Protection and the BBB in Utah.

A similar scam that works the same way ("free" sample but pay shipping) I heard about was a skin care product, I don't recall the name. In the small print where you click "I agree to terms and conditions" it signs you up for regular delivery of the product, plus says you have a certain amount of time to send it back. Unfortunately the time limit to send it back has already expired by the time you get the product.

I think there are lots of similar scams out there and I am through with internet shopping using my CC. From now on I will use a prepaid debit card that has limited funds available and not much hassle to cancel if it does get hit.

I responded to an email for this add and placed an order on December 19th, 2008. I called on 12/30/08 to check the status of this shipment for I had been charged for the trial $3.95 yet I had not gotten shipment. I was advised that it was just shipped that day (12/30/2008) to please allow 14 business days to receive. I cancelled the account so that I would not get any further charges. I asked to speak to a supervisor and was placed on hold for 58 minutes and never got to speak to anyone.

I called today 1/23/09 spoke with Cindy and was told that my order was shipped out today 1/23/09 and I asked to speak to a supervisor and was placed on hold for over 45 minutes again yet no one ever picked up.

I then called back and spoke with a Josh and was told that my order had been shipped out on 12/19/2008 that I just need to be patient and wait for my order. I asked to speak to a supervisor and was advised that there was not one that would pick up the phone.

I am contacting my credit card company and filing a complaint with them in order to get my money back from the company. I urge everyone to do the same...

Dear Judy,

Thank you. Thank you for being the person that has given us something we can all do about it! So far it has been a painful experience for me after trying to deal with this company with all the patience I could find within myself. Without any satisfying results what-so-ever.
I was in such a state of disbelief. That any company would be able to do business this way. I was dumb founded...and then, I found all the consumer complaints! One after another with all the same complaints and the same experiences dealing with their call center and simple customer service issues and questions. As I read on, the more depressed I became. I had been totally ripped-off. PERIOD!
I have been so consumed with my anger. So angry with myself for being stupid. Except that I am not stupid. How this company has been able to continue to do business this way is just criminal. They are thieves and they are "straight-up" stealing money from a whole lot of hard working people. Something needs to be done about it. Until reading your comments and ideas I was sure that not any of us (alone) has the money needed to take them to court and press charges or sue them for fraudulent business practices. I am happy to have found you and your ideas. I am with you Dear Judy! I will also be writing letters to all the people you have listed and hope that so many others will see this and do the same. Like you said, "It sure couldn't hurt".
I want you to know how much I appreciate you for being the one to get something started!

With much thanks to you.
Sincerely,
Laura Miller

I also purchased the free trial of the Acaiberry product and was charged the full amount of $87.13 in addition to the original trial fee. I called the number included in the envelope but received a voice mail which said they were not taking calls from private numbers. I then called the number for Lipaphen-RX [protected]) and actually was able to talk to a representative after waiting several minutes on hold. She canceled my subscription and said they would send me an email concerning getting a refund. It remains to be seen if I receive that email.
