FurniturebuzzGoods not shipped

I lost about $200 when I ordered something that FurnitureBuzz never shipped me. I would advise all who have given money to FurnitureBuzz to cancel their order and force a refund ASAP. The company is currently telling customers that delivery takes "21 to 30 business days", and once they do not deliver, they say that a refund will take "30 to 40 business days". These dilatory tactics are clearly a sign that FurnitureBuzz is currently out of cash, and that a bankruptcy may be imminent. Basically, whenever a new customer ill-advisedly buys something on, the company uses the money to refund another customer who has been waiting for it for months. Needless to say: make sure you are very loud in forcing your refund. If you aren't, they will certainly give any newly available moneys to a customer who has been able to threaten them more effectively. "Being loud" means, among other things:

1) Start a dispute for fraud with your bank/credit card company;

2) File a claim against FurnitureBuzz on the website of the Better Business Bureau of Northeast Florida and the Southeast Atlantic (; [protected]);

3) File a complaint against FurnitureBuzz on the Federal Bureau of Investigation's internet fraud website, also known as IC3 (;

4) File a complaint with Georgia's Governor's Office of Consumer Protection [protected]);

5) Send a strongly worded letter of complaint to Google, demanding that they remove FurnitureBuzz (and other clearly fraudolent companies) from their search results. Search engine removal would finally stop customers from falling into FurnitureBuzz's online trap.

Be quick, however. When bankruptcy sets in, it may end up taking years for you to recover any money, and there is a strong likelihood that you will recover none.

    Do NOT purchase from FurnitureBuzz and believe all the negative reviews. I placed an order in the middle of January, 2011 for a dining room set. FurnitureBuzz deducted the full money from my account the following day. This was alarming. They advertised the product in "stock". I called them and they said that it would take 3-4 weeks to have them delivered from the manufacturer to my place. I asked them why they have deducted the full amount of money from my account if they don't have the furniture on stock. I would have expected confirmation email about delivery dates, etc. OK, I said I can wait and let's see. After 4 weeks I contacted them again since I haven't heard from them. They said exactly the same that it would take 3-4 weeks to have the furniture delivered to my place. I have given another chance and now I can see that I shouldn't have. I have finally cancelled my order with them. They had my money for 9 weeks without fulfilling my order.

    I called them when they will transfer the money back to my account, and they said it would take 30-45 days to get the money back. I called their account department, they said that their account department wouldn't take any calls. I wanted to talk to the manager, he wouldn't take my call either. Finally I've got his email address, he never got back to me.

    I've filed complaint with the Better Business Bureau and FTC ( and I keep calling them.

    Buyers, BEWARE of this company!

    At the end of October I purchased (or tried to) an end table from furniturebuzz. On their website it stated it was in stock and would take 10 – 15 days to arrive. After a week or so of never receiving a shipped notice I e-mailed them and they said that product ships directly from the factory and sometimes they take a few weeks. Unhappily I waited, after a month I sent them another e-mail asking whats up and where is the end table which you have already taken my money for? After a couple of days with no reply my husband called them. It seems that they had been in negotiation with the factory and had dropped them as suppliers. But yet they never contacted us or let us know that little fact and still took our money. My husband cancelled the order and we are still a week and a half later waiting for our cash to be returned! I have since ordered the same end table from some place else and it arrived within 10 days without a hitch. It seems to me that if you are possibly going to drop a contract with a company you shouldn’t be selling their goods still.

    On October 31 I purchased an end table from furniturebuzz or at least I thought I did. On there website it stated that the product was in stock and would take 10-15 days to arrive. After a week or so of waiting for the shipping notice I e-mailed them, their reply was it shipped directly from the manufactuer and lately they were a few weeks behind. So after waiting a month with still no notice or info I e-mailed them again asking whats up and where is it. After having no reply for two days my Husband called them... It seems they had been in negotiations with the manufactier and had decided not to renew their contract with them. My husband had the order canceled and still 10 days and counting later we are still awaiting the return of our money.
