I Ordered a Pulaski Bakers Rack for 1469.00 on Oct. 27, 2017. It is now March 31, 2017. I have called every month and kept getting the run around about delivery. they even offered me a 75.00 refund for my inconvenience upon delivery of the items. I called today and they said it would be delived April 25, 2017. I told them I wanted a refund. They said fine. I get an email a few minutes later saying that they cannot electronically refund the money and I would have to go to American Express and start an inquiry. Amex said it is past the 60 days for a refund but they would investigate, no guarantees though that I would get my money back. I kept trying to call FBG back all day today and no one picked up, until my girlfriend tried from her phone and pushed 1 for sales. They picked up right away. I called them right back and this time they answered. I was put through to a managers voice mail. I am sure I will never hear from them. I did write to the BBB and will also write the NY attorney general. I cannot believe this is going on as long as it is. I am only sorry I didn't see this site before I gave out my credit card to them. I feel really dumb. I got scammed. I will not sit idol on this however, I will get a lawyer just so I feel better about this situation.

I ordered my piece of furniture on Oct. 27, 2017. I keep calling and keep getting that it was released and will be shipped out. Today is March 31 and when they told me it will take another month to get it. I told them to cancel it. Then they told me they can not electronically charge my account the refund. My credit card company says it is 60 days past the time allowed to claim a dispute. I wished I had seen these complaints before I made this purchase. I will try and sue if I can.

I ordered a curio cabinet in October 2007from furniture brands group, was told I would receive this in 6-8 weeks well here it is 5 months later no curio cabinet, all sort of nonsense with delivery dates, I called in late November it had not arrived yet, called in December due to holidays it will take another 4-6 weeks called late January they will credit my account for $47.00 due to my long wait, that was never done, February I am told should be leaving in 2 weeks. I then receive an e-mail that since it will be another 6-8 weeks before the company receives it they will credit me again $57.00 and that all I have to do is hit okay and they will do it, well I didn't think this was okay, so I called left messages for Al Carter does he even work there or maybe that is an alias, no answers back, 3 days later I get a phone call from a women from North Carolina they have my item and will call me back within 2 weeks to set up delivery depending on the truck route, when I tried to ask any questions she "Miss this is a courtesy call I cannot answer your questions, well still have not gotten a call. I am frustrated that a company would hood wink consumers and take my $900.00. I have contacted my credit card company and filing a complaint with the better business bureau, and with foxtv news, don't use this company.

I ordered a dining table from this company on 4/14/08. To date, 6/20/08, the table has not been delivered. Unfortunately, I have found out too late that the company is a scam! Amazingly, I found the complaint website by error and Lord behold; found the answer to what I was beginning to suspect to be a nightmare! Once I went to their website and saw that they were not taking anymore orders, I knew something bad was going on... they've been exposed! I only hope that I and others are able to get our money back from these... putting it mildly... thieves!

I ordered two pieces of furniture on 1/20/08 via the internet from Furniture Brands Group. My card was charged immediately- on 1/21/08. Delivery was suppose to be in 4-6 weeks. As time went by, I started to get worried. No furniture. I contacted them via email on 4/2/08 to check the status of my order and this was their response to me on 4/3/08:

"After contacting the factory regarding your order, we have been advised that your order is completed, however it is taking longer then expected to fill the trailer. Since our prices are based on full truckloads and the trailer must be full before it leaves the factory. Your order is now scheduled to be picked up from the factory on 4/25. Once picked up your order will be
brought to the fright company's warehouse for inspection, tagging and final delivery. Additionally while the order is in transit from the factory to the freight company's warehouse they will not have any information regarding your order. Only after it is thoroughly inspected and tagged will they then
call you to schedule a final delivery appointment. From the time your order leaves the factory until you are contacted by the freight company could take up to 10 business days as stated on our FAQ's. Once the trucking company is identified and a tracking number is available it will be sent to you via email. If you have any further questions regarding your order simply reply to this email as it is the most efficient way to contact the customer service department."

It is June 2 and I still have no furniture. This email message from them, which by the way did not have a contact name with it, seemed sketchy. So I decided to do a little internet research (which I should have done in January!). After reading similar complaints, I immediately called my credit card company to report my situation. I emailed FBG to cancel my order and told them to refund my money. My credit card company has already began working towards disputing the charge in case I don't get my refund. Which is great because FBG has not responded to my refund request yet. How can this fraudulent activity continue like this? They should not be allowed to conduct business on the internet. Thank you all for posting your similar situations. I will forever use this site before making another internet purchase!

I just found today on my bank statement that I was charged for the dresser -order described above-under the name BestBuyDecor. Interesting. I ordered it under the name Everyday Furnishings, got confirmation from salesfbg@FurnitureBrandsGroup.com.

FURNITURE BRANDS GROUP AKA EVERYDAY FURNISHINGS AKA ONE CLICK FURNITURE AKA HOME DECOR AND MANY, MANY MORE NAMES ...

I have the pleasure to remind Ms. Suzie Walker every single day that I exist and I want my $1, 155 back!I am sending her every single day my same message using the function "send the message again, " and I am sure she likes that.
I found her e-mail on the complaints board: SWalker@everydayfurnishings.com and since it is very easy
I tried if Stan Jay and Al Carter are using the same e-mail addreess and it looks like they do, so I have them on my list too and I will bother them until the day they refund my money and even after that I will inform everybody about their unfair practices.
If anybody likes to write them please feel free to make their day!

Hello everybody,
it seems to me that I know all of you or at least your problems since they are similar to mine. I have ordered too from the "company" Furniture Brands Group a furniture prized at $1.155 on March 6, 2017. On March 18, 2017 I was charged the full amount on my card. On March 31, 2017, I was looking for ways to track my order and I accidentally stumbled across this complaint site and I got really worry. I checked the FBG on the BBB and discovered that the FBG has an unsatisfactory record with the BBB because customers have difficulty communicating with the company and are unable to get a refund. I called to the customer service and woman named Suzie Walker answered the phone. She said that my dresser will be shipped sometimes in May. When I protested she checked in seconds ! that it can be actually done the last week of April. At this point I asked her to cancell my order and give me my money back. She said fine and send me confirmation of cancelation but without any cancelation number. I immediately contacted my bank to dispute tha charges. The next day, on April 1, Suzie sent an e-mail informing me that the dresser is no longer available and the item has been discontinued, but she offered help to find something similar with discount on the replacement item. I let her know that I was not interested and wanted my money back. I reported this company to BBB and to the Internet Crime Agency Complaint Center. Suzie, always the same person, answered once my phone call and said that to process the refund would take 7-10 days, that she spoke to the accounting department and they will have the credit back to my account by 4/11. Delay tactics continued. When I called on 4/11/08, the same Suzie pushed for the next Monday, 4/14/08 and finally, she sent on the same day when she promised refund a note that she attempted to electronically refund my money, but she was unsuccessful and recommended me to call to my issuing bank and initiate an inquiry. Also, I received a letter from BBB that Suzie Walker of the business states that consumer would have the full credit on her account by 4/11. What a shame. I e-mailed the BBB that Suzie is not performing as promised and I am in a process of reporting Suzie and company to the Attorney General on NY Mr. Cuomo.
Please, everybody, be carefull and do not order anything from this company. Everything that I have read in all complaints is true. Unfortunatelly. Please, save you money and nerves. If you like to shop for furniture, I have good experiences with the XO Furniture company. NO SHOPPING WITH FURNITURE BRANDS COMPANY OR WHATEVER NAMES THEY USE! PLEASE READ ALL COMPLAINTS BEFORE YOU CONSIDER TO PLACE AN ORDER WITH FBG.

I ordered a table from EverydayFurnishing.com (aka Furniture Brands Group) back on 10/10/2017. I received excuse after excuse as to why my table had not been delivered and also they gave me a small credit in Jan 08 since it was taking so long. On March 19, 2017 I was told that they did not give refunds and that I would have to put in inquire in with my credit card company to get my money back. This is crazy. What a scam. Per the credit card company I only have 60 days to file a dispute. So sad that this story seems to be the same as everyone else and the same experience. I have also spoke with Jay (sales rep), Susie (customer service) and Al Carter (manager). I have filed a complaint with the BBB of New York. This company currently has 113 complaints this year and the BBB does not get responces back from them either. I also filed a complaint with the Attorney General in New York and the FBI IC3 divison (Internet Crime Complaint Center). Hopefully something will work. If not I might speak with my attorney. I would love to hear from anyone else that has posted a comment to see what results they have had.

I placed an order on November 9th of 2017 with Jay sales rep. at ext. 201. I have been getting false information about delivery and shipment information since Jan 2nd. I was told the furniture would be delivered within 2 weeks. I called back numerous times in February and was told the furniture was on it's way. March 2017 I called several times spoke with Stan Jay, and Al Carter Managers for EVERYDAY FURNISHINGS. ... They will not return my calls. I was told by Stan Jay, they could issue a credit to my account for compensation of all my troubles and he would contact me later in the day with the amount. He never returned my call. I have called 7 times this month and noone knows where the furniture is or can tell me when it will be delivered. IT HAS BEEN 6 MONTHS PAYMENT WAS MADE IS FULL of $6500.00 in NOV. 07...l They are scam artists. DO NOT PURCHASE! BEWARE
