Fred Meyer/Littman Jewelers review: I would like a refund of our wedding rings set to repurchase new ones.

My husband and I purchased our wedding rings through Fred Meyer jewelers, since then they have closed all of their locations. A diamond fell out of my husbands band so we had to send it to the repair store in Kentucky. We purchased the Lifetime Care Plan for all our jewelry. We were informed that it is not being covered due to the fact the rings haven't been inspected in 2 years. I remind you the stores have been closed since December of 2019. We've had them inspected at a different jewelry store but according to them that does not count. So to make a long story short, we paid for a protection plan and they are not honoring it because it wasn't inspected by them. They are telling us it will be 600.00 to fix his ring. This is a company we have spent well over 9,000 dollars on our wedding rings and another 9,000 on additional jewelry items. How can we have the rings inspected when all the locations are closed? I do not want to have to go through this everytime we need services through them. I would like my money back on our wedding rings so we can purchase new ones at a store that is still open. There is much more to this whole story so it would be great to speak with someone.

Desired outcome: We have 9700.00 invested in these rings with nowhere to get them inspected to meet these requirements. They have receipts for every purchase.
