On “Baby and Kids Expo” held in Los Angeles (Pasadena), our baby has participated in Diaper Derby Race which was prepared by EXPO PROS (aka: Ultimate Expo Company, LLC) and he won the Race, which the prize was $1, 000 gift certificate from World America Discount Store.

But when I got home and try to use it from www.wadiscount.com they obligate to pay the shipping which is not covered by the gift certificate, and the shipping fee exceeds the actual selling value of the items. I bet EXPO PROS didn’t even spend a penny for this prize. This is “worthless prize”. EXPO PRO is cheating all little babies with false prize

Of course there's always two sides to every story so we'll let the reader decide for themselves. The prize is usable. The "complainer" doesn't want to pay for shippng and handling which was disclosed two ways at the event prior to giving away the prize: (1) It was announced several times (2) It was in print on description for the Diaper Derby. The "complainer" doesn't like the prize and stated: EXPO PRO is cheating all little babies with false prize. How bizarre that someone would debate the quality of a prize.?! We say If you don't like the prize than don't use it. By the way, one other bit of info that the complainer has not offered. By IRS rules, we need to report the prize as 1099 misc income. We announced at the event that prize winners needed to fill out the IRS forms. "Complainer", left with the prize and didn't do that. We have repeatedly let the "complainer" know the IRS requirements since the event and to this date we've received no follow up from the "Complainer".
Our staff has been producing events for 23 years and we are very proud of our events. At this specific event we heard many comments and they were all positive. On the way out of the show Parents took it upon themselves to say things like: "Great event", "We'll be back next year", "Thank you for putting this on so my kids have a safe fun place to go". The one we appreciated the most is this one: "Thanks for putting this together for families". The "complainer" is one complaint out of thousands and thousands of people that attended the event who enjoyed the event. The "complainer" is not even complaining about the show but about a prize that the "complainer" doesn't like. Here's one more bit of advice for the "complainer". You're a spoiler. We all enjoyed the event. You're the kind've person who trys to milk things for more than it's worth. Do us all a favor that enjoyed the event, don't come back next year; no one wants your negativity. Let us be more succinct, you may not attend any of our future events. Thank you to "Complaints Board" for allowing us to tell our side of the story. As always with all of our events we welcome positive criticism from anyone this helps us to make our event better for all.
