Estoril Villa 86 & Booking.com review: Cancellation fees isnt paid back

I had made a booking for a holiday at Villa Estoril; 86 Mosselbay - from 14tn - till 27 Oct 2021 - of I had paid the whole amount of R4800.00-

After 3 days I had to canceled the stay and immediately I received my cancellation messaged,

Dear Gerhard Adlam,

We have received your request to cancel reservation [protected].

Although there is a charge associated with this cancellation, we will try to find the best possible solution for you. We have asked Estoril Villas 86 to make an exception for your reservation, and hope to have an answer for you shortly.

The reservation policy selected by you does not allow for a free cancellation or modification at this time. This means that a fee will be charged if you decide to cancel or make changes to the reservation. The policy details are stated at the time of booking, and are included in your reservation confirmation for reference.

For any questions, you can contact the property at +[protected] or send them an email.

This is the mail I received back - Suddenly I received a mail that the cancelation fees is the whole amount I paid in - I sent emails try to phone but no success to hear again from them.

If I new that would happened I would never make a booking om booking.com and think that this is unfair to treat clients this way - And I now that the time is passed on - it is now 4 mounts - but I will go further with this - no one had the money to true it around if it wasn't necessary. Please I asked if there is any way that I can get the money back - And there is no communication between the accommodation host or from booking.com again. My mail address"[protected]@gmail.com. I would appreciate it if I could receive my refund of my booking. Thanks Gerhard [protected]
