I rented from them a few years ago. They were horrible. I am a single woman who pays her bills, is neat, and very quiet. I had these nasty people that moved in next to me. They started doing "construction" all hours of the day and late into the night. hammering around, just to get to me. Probably tearing the place apart too. I called Sue, and she was so nasty to me. I was polite, and wrote down all my complaints and sent them. I had tried talking to the neighbors, nicely. He just got worse. Bad harassment. Long story short; Sue gave me a 20 day no cause notice. I had a LEGITIMATE complaint; and she retaliated. It is illegal, and I could have sued them. I guess the people harassing me were "friends" of theirs. I just moved out, to avoid other hassles with them. I had gotten a police report, as I was moving out, because the people next door were hassling me even then. I took pictures of them blocking my driveway even. The police were very nice to me, and made sure I was able to move out without getting hurt or anything. I found out that the trash next door to me got evicted after that, anyways. I had left the pictures on the kitchen counter. So I guess Sue finally believed me. But I had not wanted to move; and it was a real hardship for me. These people are nasty and unprofessional. I hate them; and will NEVER forget the experience I had with them. I should NOT have gotten a 20 day no cause. They should have taken care of the MANIACS next door. I found that Eqwest had an "F" rating with the BBB at the time, and wish I would have seen this beforehand, They are ###S. And what goes around WILL come around, for them.

Yes, lets set the record straight. These people are total criminals. Almost 2yrs ago landlord paid them to have decks redone (decks are less than 10yrs old) very poorly done) approx $7k paid to them, they haven't done anything. Last season there were huge bubbles in the the roof forming... I would estimate up to about 2 gals of water from size of bubble (3 separate bubbles... largest holding about 2 gal. Another thing that I know that was reported is my friend and roommate had to grab something that blew out on to the roof... when he stepped out on to the roof the roof sagged about 3" to 4", I thought he was going to go through (massive dry rot), months later still nothing done. Thing is sheet rock when wet or soaked can get very heavy (dry weight is around 80 l.b.s.). If a sheet comes down because drywall gets very soft when exposed to moisture... it could kill someone, but they don't do anything. It took them about 2yrs to have someone come out and fill the holes in the street. It had to take them all of approx. a half hour. I tell you what if this scenario does play out and find that a kid is hurt or killed... this will be settled outside the courtroom. Another issue is the parking here it is not up to the parking codes of today. I do understand that they probably fell under a grandfather clause at the time, but they shifted the entrance to another location and in doing so decimated any extra over flow parking. When they did the grandfather clause should have been null and void. The original entrance could have been fenced differently to allow better parking for guest, visitors, maintenance, or what ever it may pertain to. Its already paved and everything throw down some lines.. end of parking issues. Instead of that they sold off the area of land and probably already knew that the land couldn't be built on and sold to someone who I understand now is suing them for not disclosing that info about the land... wondering whose hand they are greasing in city gov. The fire marshal has also been out and stated the same thing about parking not being adequate. The people that come out to clean the gutters do a horrible job... they do the gutters, but not the the upper lip of where the roof meets. There are areas where the moss build up is over 2 " thick... we cant clean it because we haven't the right to go down on the neighbors deck and set up our own ladder to reach what should be done while they are cleaning the gutters... Moss is helping speed up the decomposition of the roof. The thing here is every deck is over someone's living room or heavily trafficked areas. Just waiting for when i see an ambulance leave here because a roof caves in or fails and either seriously injures or kills an individual. They soak every condo for about $400/ month on top of the 7k given to them to fix our back deck... that was almost 2yrs ago. At the moment I am in contact with BBB, fire marshal, housing authority, and few other agencies... these guys are flakes and should be dealt with on a criminal level. I wasn't to surprised by the comments other than who is issuing these people the right to do business in Washington.

I couldn't more strongly disagree with these comments! I am a single mom and have been renting from Eqwest for over 8 years! Greg and Sue have never been anything but kind, fair and respectful to me in this time. They always receive my payments and have worked with me many times. If anything ever needed done they are always prompt in getting someone out. I treat my home like its my own and pay my rent, that's all they ask! I was out and had to look up their address to send off my rent and I came across these comments and felt I needed to set the record straight! Mandy

everyone should know about GREG OF EQWESTLLC.. and that i reported this pervert to the WASHINGTON STATE PATROL AND VANCOUVER POLICE .. I reviewed other complaints about this pervert and someone needs to stand up to this PERVERTED GUY..this guy should be banned from doing any sort of buissness..this guy talks about the current renters and called their little girls twits, and made a lady very uncomfertable by the way he was looking at her then asked her if he can get a hug from her before her husband got back..GREG your a sick and perverted man and you don't belong in the world buisness so go screw youself..

eqwestllc..what a waste of time..I'm currently renting from greg from eqwestllc and he one f****d up guy. and he's very lucky that i didn't smash his face in...he had a contractor fix prior damages before I moved in and i gotta say..this is half ### work at it's best...if your reading this greg..go f*** yourself!

I am a landlord and they provided beyond abysmal property management services. Never drove by to look at property. Mishandled the tenant and eviction process. Allowed a tenant to run up a $840 water bill that I had to pay for personally. Didn’t take responsibility to notify us of a leak resulting in property damage. Greg the owner of Eqwest wrote an email to my exhusband that “I will do anything to destroy that evil ###”, which means me as the Landlord after I fired them. Tenants complained about them also. I am fortunate to have gotten the red flag warning prior to dealing with this company. I called about a property they had listed. Before I wanted to get some information on the property I wanted to run a few things by them that I have been having problems with other companies. He proceeded to wonder why 2 adult couples who collectively made 12k+/month didnt want to live on their own. Thats none of your business. Secondly, before I could continue to talk, I was rudely interrupted several times. His statements would sound something along the lines of "I've been doing this for 35 years, " "I'm the director of rentals something or other in clark county, " etc. He then proceeded to tell me that because we were 4 adults we would each have to pay the security deposit...excuse me?! $1000 each? your crazy! I asked him why having 4 adults would affect the deposit that way, he went back to his experience, his position on the board, and that his attorney told him he could that it was legal. I then said that I felt it was false advertisement for him to not specifically state that having multiple adults could affect the deposit that way. Most companies will tell you its a flat deposit or it could be up to a certain amount contigent on other information. He tried to yell at me, so I hung up. I am lucky compared to some of the things I have read online. All I have to say is do your research. No matter how good a house looks, do some research. on the company.

i agree. after Kameron moves you in you will never see her. I personally have never met either Sue or Gregg not even once and i lived in one of their units for 2 years. In their defense i have never had Gregg yell at me on the phone or say anything negative to me. The reason im posting on here is because they are trying to hold my entire deposit, my deposit was $1000, plus they are trying to charge me another $700. They are charging things like sheet rock replacement, replacement of light bulbs, batteries, carpet replacement, and even cleaning even though i paid a non-refundable cleaning deposit. Seriously, they think im stupid. i know how to search the law and i know my rights. I will pay for what im responsible for. Carpet repair in 1 bedroom because my 2 year old son spilled juice on it and i couldnt get it out. thats it. They ended up replacing the carpet whith some retro ruggish ugly brown carpet. Its probably not even brand new but they think they still get me for it.. hahaha.. i dont think so . im not dumb. if the carpet wasnt brand new when you moved in, then they cannot charge youthe full price for New Carpet.. even when the carpet they replaced is not new.. wow.. ametuers.

It is unfortunate that a homeowner can lose a great tenant because of the way Greg talks to the tenants. He was rude to me. He acts as though he has a split personality.
No I am not a disgruntled tenant. I am a tenant with excellent rental history but yet was talked to by Greg like I was ### on a stick.

I STRONGLY agree with every negative comment stated above. I moved into a "renovated" place quite awile ago and have been trying to escape every since! Everything was done cheaply and quickly, the new carpet and linoleum started coming up within weeks, mold was in every place imaginable, there are illegal activities going in with other renters that they know about but won't do a damn thing about... I could go on and on and on but when it comes right down to it, DO NOT RENT FROM THESE PEOPLE!

I hate the place we moved into it's disgusting and they didn't do any of the things they said they would do like all the things we wanted fixed before we moved in none of them were fixed, the new carpet smelled extremely bad it burnt the inside of my nose, the floor creeks so loud i feel like the floor is about to cave in. nothing was cleaned when we moved in there was pee on the toilet seat. everything is old they don't put in anything new like the cabinets they are disgusting and there is something sticky in there. they over charge for this place most definitely i feel like I'm getting ripped off every time i pay rent!

Contrary to what I read here is totally false. I am originally from Norway, Greg we found to be quite a gentle man. He was very accomidating and made us feel really at home in a strange new land. I realize you can't make every one happy. But, I am SURE that there are several others who share my viewpoint. Being in the retail business dealing with the Public is very tough and each one of these complaints must be looked at on an individual basis. Being a Tenant I treat the place as my own. But, I saw others abusing their apartments and of course it's always the Rental Agent or the Landlord's fault. But, I would reccommend EQWEST, LLC to ANYONE!

Same thing here. A disastrous choice to handle our property rental. What is said and done are two totally different items with them. I can understand the comments above showing seething hatred for this Greg and Eqwest and can feel their pain. It is common when someone has extorted money from you to have this feeling of rage. If debating on using this property management company or using a grapefruit spoon to dig out your own eyeball... do the grapefruit spoon. You'll avoid the more painful of the outcomes.
