Another update for people...
Unfortunately these buggers have run off, I spoke to their landlord today and he is owed £20, 000 by them, and that is the tip of the iceberg as they have fleeced so many people, the landlord told me that literally every day people are coming to him to chase the company for money, bailiff agencies are constantly there.
Looks like these "people" will get away with it, but I know that they have moved to Hounslow or nearby, and this is what they look like as well.

Been reading this post since we've had dealings with Engine 'n' Parts, I think it's best to post the details to help others avoid them.
We purchased a reconditioned Vauxhall M9R engine from them, we paid a deposit on card over the phone, with the balance due to be paid on delivery. Well they were supposed to deliver at 2.00pm in the week, they turned up around 8.00 in the evening and them demanded the balance of over £1000 in cash i.e no receipt. We said 'no' we will pay the rest on card with a receipt, we need one for VAT purposes at the very least. A big argument ensued with them accusing us of trying to steal the engine! Oh I wish we told them to take the engine back and keep the deposit, but no in the end Rav calmed down and said he would said send one of his guys to the office so they can process the card payment. Well they did, but without calling me for the card details, the must've used the details from the deposit, and they took an extra £200, and on top of that, still no receipt. Visa couldn't help as we had provided our card details and have no receipt to prove they took to much!
But it gets worse, the engine is far from a recon, as we discovered when we had to put a new timing kit on, along with the inlet cam shaft timing gear.
I cannot reiterate enough what everyone has said, DO NOT USE, you will get burnt.

Hope those of you who have taken them to court have success.

Just an update from my last post, Ravinder or Rav Arora, is in fact Narinder Arora who previously was the director of TRT Engine Importers, this was said in front of a Judge, so not to sure why he is changing his name for people, but that's the type of person he is I guess...

I purchased a Nissan Navara From this company Engine N Parts via ebay
I paid £4000 GBP and got a bargain the vehicle runs smoothly and the staff were very freindly and offered 3 free services with the vehicle aswell. they also advised me of how to look after the engine and not to fall into the warranty traps which alot of dealerships offer but never adhere too. overall I think this is an excellent company and try them for yourself every company has ups and downs even the dealerships so i think some of the comments here are totally unacceptable if you have a complaint fair enough doesnt mean you start giving peoples personal addresses shocking just shows you have some Psychos out there.

anyway I would recommend them and have recommended them to all my Business Associates..

Thanks Guys

Jason

I am in the process of taking them to court, over a car I bought from them, but for anyone reading this, they have started yet another ebay shop called city-cars and are selling again, I have reported them to trading standards and have reported them to the police under the road traffic act.

But be very careful, if you see an address of Unit 9, Upper Trinity Street, Birmingham

Make sure you avoid at all costs, as it has so far taken 6 months with the courts, not the quickest process in the world, and these people are complete conmen, especially the manager/salesman a guy called Ravinder Arora known as Rav, who has the main office there, you can do a search for him on facebook etc... but avoid at all costs...

One day I really hope they upset the wrong people...!

We had ordered parts from engines n parts, which took a month to send, only half of order arrived, which was wrong. We contacted them again and again, they always promised the right parts would be sent but nothing ever arrived. The wrong parts were returned at our expense and they promised a full refund on them receiving the goods, but now will not answer any phone calls. We are now contacting the credit card company to find out if they can refund us.

These people are thieves, if you love urself you will not ve any dealings with them. I bought a gearbox over the phone from them, later called back 10min later n cancelled the order. It took these company 1 month to refund my money back. I had to travel all the way from London to Birmingham n did some serious fighting / argument in their office before they refund my money back. It didn't take them 5 min to do the refund on their system but they ve been lying to me over the phone that they ve done it n after 2weeks, the Rav guy told me he had put a cheque in the post, 1 week later I didn't receive anything in the post. Until I decided to travel to Birmingham which cost me £52 for train ticket. Have reported them to trading standard, this company is meant to be shut down, they re rogues.

Strongly agree, ordered a part for my car, they have taken the money on the day I ordered it on 30/6/14..have not received the part, have made several phone calls and told one lie after another...company is a joke...taking the money and not sending the part is stealing... will be contacting citizens advise... for what action to take next... as they offered to give me a refund and have not done so...

I bought a Navara in September as well, brakes faulty, wiring faults, tyres illegal, falsely advertised as a model it wasnt, falsely said it had a new engine, even the handbrake cable snapped! And it even had the wrong locking wheel nuts...
Terrible service, currently taking them to court...

Sounds like "johndavies" is a company man...

Hi
I don't know if anyone looks at this forum anymore, but I am currently having issues with Engine N Parts who made a mess of an engine rebuild on my truck. The bill constantly went up and now he wants paying for work that should have been done on warranty. I am looking for people who have had the same issues. Thanks Idris

oh and NO free servicing was offered by them, and frankly after the shockingingly bad condition the internals of the vehicle I wouldn't trust them with a used ipod, let alone a £4500 car!

Do not trust them, google either Engine N Parts Ltd or TRT Engine Importers (company dissolved due to, too many court actions)

The above sounds like it was posted by the company themselves, as there are so many other complains from so many people against this company.
I bought a car for £4500, company refused to give a VAT receipt, refused to fix faults with the car, were rude/abusive/arrogant when contacted for a refund. Car was sold illegally, brakes were shot / engine started leaking / exhaust faulty / tyres illegal / Handbrake cable rusted away / brake cylinders completely gone.
Refused all contact to resolve the issues, refused to adhere to the sale of goods act, sold a car illegally and criminally under the Road Traffic Act.
Never ever buy from them...

I have just stumbled on this forum, as I was recently ripped off by Engine N Parts, pretty much the same story, the car seemed okay, but as soon as I got home I started noticing problems with it. Eventually took it to a Nissan Main dealer, who told me the car was dangerous to drive, and completely unroadworthy.

I have since complained to my credit card company, but if anyone is reading this, call citizens advice to get them to report to Birmingham Trading standards, also report to the police, using Action Fraud website. seriously Pi***d off with them, when I called to complain, some manager called Rav was abusive, rude and then hung up the phone. So I have complained to pretty much every government dept I can think of, but the more complaints the better.
