Beautiful Boxer puppy. However, the breeder, Rick Hoar, owner of Enchanted Acres, Inc. of Winlock Wa. and Portland, Oregon, didn't seem to take care of her. She came with roundworms (6" long) and ear mites! I called about a microchip question and when he started arguing that our Vet was wrong with how the register her, I mentioned her pooor condition. Before I could even finish the word "mite" he hung up on me. Obviously a little defensive about the condition of the poor puppy they sold us.

I use to work for them back in 2009. I seen on multiple occasions Rick Hore Punting and Foot ball kicking dogs and cats I even seen him beat the horses and many times he would say not to clean certain stalls Becuse he was teaching the horse a lession and it would some times be up to a month or more before he would allow the stall to be cleaned the only horses that got baths were hi personal horses and ones were a customer was on there way to see it never did he allow the horses out of there stall except for viewing not even while the stall was being cleaned. He only pats his workers $100.00 a week to live on and while liveing and working there I would do my dishs and the tub would back up after that happening and the trailer flooding I located the septic the lid was under at the very least 8inches dirt with grass and it was just a 4ft cement tub with no other holes and 3 trailers draining into it when I confronted him he mad my now ex empty it with a shovel and dump and mix it in to the horse manuwer that he sells as well. he wouldn't even allow us to apply for food stamps while working for him.

On April 16, 2014, I purchased a horse from Rick and Cricket HOAR of Enchanted Acres in Winlock, WA. The horse was advertised on Dreamhorse Classifieds (an Internet site) as a "family friendly, child safe, with a temperament of a 1 on a scale of 10---1 being the most calm, quiet and safe--10 being the most spirited and difficult to handle. I did not see the horse in person--I talked with Rick Hoar and his wife, Cricket many times over the phone and via emai and they asssured me that the horse was child safel. I requested that the Hoar's send me a Bill of Sale and they told me they would. I had the horse shipped from WA to CA where I live. When the horse came of the trailer, I was in shock. He was in very poor condition, had deep abrasions on his back and was very hard to handle. Definitely NOT A HORSE THAT IS SAFE FOR KIDS. I had a trainer try to work with the horse and she told me that the horse was not appropriate in any way for kids. In addition, the horse needed immediate vet care for his teeth, the abrasions on his back and for his feet. I tried to communicate with the Hoar's, but they refused to talk to me.I never received a Bill of Sale. I am now stuck with a horse that I cannot use and over $4k in expenses for the horse.
I hope that my very bad experience with Enchanted Acres and the Hoar's will be a lesson to other people who think of buying a horse from these people. Don't be fooled, these people are not reputable horse sellers.

I purchased a beautiful black and white horse from them... They had a vet check done and showed me a form (in hind site they probably made it). The horse ended up seriously lame. He was only 6 years old! He had had such bad foot care in his life that his bones were deteriorating! They new this horse was for my 13 year old daughter. Very sad situation... and their guarantee to allow to return a horse if you are not happy was BS! I called 2 weeks from purchase to tell them I want my money back... they they couldn't do it, they didn't have the money anymore and offered me a 20 year old horse and said it was worth the same value! We are talking thousands... They are idiots! Uncaring, despicable human beings. Just out to scam anyone that comes along. Just make sure you let everyone know...

I purchased a puppy as well. They have terrible and absolutely mean "techniques" on how to handle dogs. They should sober up and be responsible. All they want is to make a buck and don't have any love of animals.
