EmbroidMe of Eden Prairie review: I find this type of business practice dishonest and deceptive 3

I brought in a children’s Christmas stocking to be embroidered with the name Miranda. I also brought in a stocking that Jessica (the owner) had embroidered one year earlier with the name Celeste. The order was to match the font of Miranda’s stocking to the font of Celeste’s.

When I picked up the order just before Christmas the font of Miranda’s stocking did not match and was sewn at an angle. I brought the stockings back and Jessica argued that she did the best she could but agreed that they did not match and said she would pull it out and do it over again but would not guarantee that the stocking might get damaged. She also said I could go buy another stocking (at my expense and she would do it over). I called in late Jan. and she said they had the stitching out but had not re sewn the name Miranda back on. I called yesterday and she said it was finished and I could pick it up. When I picked it up today the Miranda name was exactly the same. She had not taken out the stitching and re-sewn it like she said she would. She basically let it sit in her shop for 6 weeks and the told me it was ready. I find this type of business practice dishonest and deceptive. The least she could have done was to refund my money and reimburse me for the Christmas stocking cost.
