If you want a fly-by-night outfit hired to haul your vehicle from state to state go ahead and hire Elite Auto Shippers. They will make sure you pay more than they initially quoted and get your vehicle delivered damaged to boot. This is because they use fly-by-night hacks to haul your vehicle from place to place with cargo insurance supposedly in force but when you claim damage they tell you to go get screwed and they are not responsible. Here's what happened to me...

I contracted with Elite's Broker Christina to move my recently purchased used vehicle from Idaho to Colorado and she quoted me $700. $100 for the broker fee and $600 for the trucker. Then when it came time to get the vehicle put on the trailer and shipped, she couldn't find anybody to take the job for that price and yeah you guessed it, the price went up to a $1000! In comes the fly-by-night shipper who loads it on his two place trailer behind a pickup truck and comes down to Colorado with my used truck on a open two place trailer. However, he has to stop in between in Utah to drop off another fare and pickup another truck to haul elsewhere after mine is delivered. So off the trailer goes my truck and things get moved around then its placed back on the rear to travel to me. This is where I believe the damage occurred. Too much moving of vehicles around will get yours broken! They are always in a hurry and don't care!

I had thought about this scenario happening before so I asked the car dealer to take a bunch of pre-shipment pictures just in case this happened. So when the vehicle finally reached us "conveniently" just after dark and was hastily unloaded no damage was observed because it was too dark to see it by flashlight. The driver took his cash and left in flash leaving us to find the hole in the front bumper the next morning! We'd been had! Stuck holding the bag! He gave us no receipts, paperwork or even his name. So even if we had his insurance company information to file a claim, how do we explain who did what?

When I texted Christina the Broker to complain and ask for assistance, I got told to deal with the driver. So I sent him before and after pictures and he says he'll call me soon to discuss it. Then I get more angry as the time dragged on and looked up the delivery business on-line an sent an email to the CEO telling him about the damages. He writes back and tells me that he's not going to honor an insurance claim. Then the driver calls me yelling and screaming at me, cussing, about he didn't do anything to my truck and that he delivered it for "free" and that he was stuck somewhere else because of me. Then he hung up! So much for that nonsense! This was going nowhere!

What recourse do I have except to advise others not to not deal with Elite Auto Shippers AKA Serge Krasner of NYC. These people are very disreputable. Also stay clear from using a company called Shade Merchant LLC of Falls Church, VA AKA Tabriz Nabiyev that was shipping company that refused to honor the damage claim.

You have been warned! Caveat Emptor!

Desired outcome: I'd like to have them pay to fix my bumper but I'm not holding my breath!
