Dusty Rose Kennel review: Sold sick dog, lied about health 1

Dusty Rose Kennel sold an almost five month old Yorkshire puppy with heart problems and the crown on its head not closed. The seller advertised HEALTH GUARANTEE, VET EXAMINATION AND HEALTH CERTIFICATE, but upon us traveling to Oklahoma from another state, the seller, an ELDERLY woman stated she forgot the Vet Exam and Health Certificate, but would immediately fax the paperwork over. Never faxed anything over. The seller then told us that the crown on the puppy's head had not closed yet, but assured us that it would close. She had never made any mention of this over the numerous telephone conversations we had with her, prior to traveling to Oklahoma. She assured us the puppy was healthy and would send us the paperwork, or fully refund us the money and take the puppy back.

The next day of the purchase we took the puppy to our vet for examination. We were then told the puppy had a heart problem as well as the crown on its head had not closed and at this age, probably would not close. Upon telling the seller this, she was rude, hung up the telephone and demanded we pay for or deliver in person with no reimbursement of costs to travel, the puppy to her location. She is in business with her sister at Dusty Rose Kennel and has had her sister tell us they would pay for the flight of the puppy and reimburse our money, not doing so as well, just more lies. This is a kennel that has had other names and the telephone number (a cell phone number) is listed under another name, as well as the seller, LEONA GAYER, having a different name then the kennel, which is BARBARA OR ROY ROSS, on the Dusty Rose Kennel, also FAIRYTALES KENNEL. This information was not found until after the information was obtained through Paypal.

BUYERS BEWARE! We are now having to take legal action on this kennel, whom I'm sure will just turn around and get a different Kennel name and sell to unsuspecting buyers who trust elderly people.
