I am just inquiring on a situation I have. I recently found two $50.00 gifts from the Duluth Trading Company in Duluth, Minnesota on the 12 of December and the receipt from this purchase was dated the 11th of December. I called the main office that was listed on the back of the card. I wanted to find out if anyone claimed these. Well, I made various calls to the company just to get a straight (honest) answer and as far as I'm concerned, they just talked in circles. One person had said the cards were deactivated and I could not use them. I told her if I had wanted to use them, and why would I even try to do the right thing and call you people. The gift card is stated, to treat the card like cash. I then asked the assistant manager in the Duluth Store to please update me on that day. She said she would, but the odd thing is and question one had told me it was a loss for the store but I said no because the store already has their money. My point being I am an honest person and I expect an honest answer and if no one claim the cards within so long I should be able to keep them. You know, maybe I should have kept the cards, only if I had known I would be so annoyed to actually vent in a letter.
