Dreams Clean Gadget review: Purchase from Dreams Clean Gadget

On November 18, 2021 I responded to an e-mail from Dreams Clean Gadget who indicated that as a new customer of T Mobile cell phone service I was eligible to make purchases from Dreams Clean for the cost of shipping only. I decided to purchase an item on their website called a "EMS Foot Mat" for the cost of shipping only, which was stated to be $7.45. I provided my debit card to Dreams Clean that day to make the purchase of $7.45 and that amount was deducted from my checking account.

On November 23, 2021 Dreams Clean made a second deduction from my checking account for $49.97. I could not locate the e-mail or website for Dreams Clean Gadget and I had no address or phone number. I went to my local Chase Bank branch and discussed this matter with the manager. I was told that the only way to cancel this transaction would be to cancel my debit card and to have a new one issued. I cancelled the debit card that day.

I received the purchased "EMS Foot Mat" on November 29, 2021. Dreams Clean Gadget filed a claim with Chase Bank to recover $49.97 and I received word from Chase on December 26, 2021 that they were going to honor the claim of Dreams Clean and pay them the amount of $49.97 on January 3, 2022. I requested information from Chase as to why the Dreams Clean claim was paid and I asked for copies of any documents that Dreams Clean may have submitted to them. I finally received the requested documents on February 16, 2022.

In the documents submitted to Chase by Dreams Clean they state on page 2 of 7:

"By Placing an order, customers will be charged the full price s per the product selected."

"Customers that do not cancel before the order arrives are responsible for the full product cost and also any charges there in as agreed in the terms and conditions"

Therefore, Dreams Clean requires the customer to cancel any order before the product arrives and before they can do an inspection of the product. If the customer does not cancel before the product arrives they are responsible for the full price of the product, in this case the full price was apparently $49.97.
