Sherry Ford, Double L Transport (Murfreesboro), P.O. Box 52, Lascassas, TN and I entered into a signed contract 9/28/2010 for purchase of an 8 yr. old blue roan TWH gelding in the amount of $4, 500...his name is Blue Bayou (registered “Racking”) and has white on his right cornet band and a “longer” head. The horse was a “trade” horse received from Carey Hughes, All Lit Up Farms…valued at $6, 500 per Carey...the original horse I bought from him tried to buck me off (stay away from his farm). Sherry did transport one other horse for me which brought her balance down to $3, 900. Although the contracted stated Sherry was to pay me $500 minim a month, starting January 2011 and ending May 2011, she has only made one payment of $300 on March 10, leaving a balance of $3, 600. I have detailed Facebook messages sent to/from Sherry stating she had sent checks, was going to send checks, forgot to send checks and sent Paypal checks that bounced. The contract stated if she defaulted on payment, the horse was to be returned to my residence within 30 days by Double L Transport. On March 23rd, after I confronted Sherry, she admitted that she SOLD the horse to someone she alleges that is in Florida for Field Trials! She is a horse thief because she not only sold my horse without my permission, but also kept MY money! I was told Sherry actually sold my horse shortly after she picked him up from me on Sept. 29, 2011 and actually found out she tried to sell him even before she picked him up! Sherry Ford is a cheat, liar, dishonest and despicable person and I don’t want her to take advantage of anyone else! As of July 2011, I have retained Legal counsel, as Sherry refuses to give me $$ and now she has disconnected her phone! DO NOT USE HER AND WARN EVERYONE YOU KNOW! If anyone has seen this blue roan horse, please contact me!

CORRECTION: Animal cruelty charges to be dismissed against workers
Channel 4 would like to make a correction regarding the animal cruelty accusations at the Rock "N" Acres animal rescue in Rutherford County.
On Wednesday, WSMV reported that Sherry Ford and Brian Watson struck a deal with the district attorney concerning the charges.
However, we now understand the case was "retired" or continued for a year.
Attorney Trey McFarlin says the couple did not plead guilty, and the charges will eventually be dismissed and expunged.
Court records show Ford and Watson were ordered to close down the animal shelter, but the lawyer says this order is not permanent.
A cruelty investigator and an animal advocate who filed the complaint says they are disappointed and wanted Rock 'N' Acres closed forever
