They approached me via WhatsApp , mentioning that they are running a blind school and support surgery for children and education for underprivileged. They sent photos and videos of the children and the blind school upon there initial approach

After there initial approach , I informed them that I would visit there blind school prior to making a support commitment

Yesterday, I got approached by them to help out with a 10 month old child undergoing a heart surgery which there foundation was looking for support

The child (Ujjawal Kumar) was supposedly admitted in Escorts Fortis Okhla this morning , and surgery was to be performed tomorrow or day after. Photographs of the parents and the child in front of the hospital and a admission form with Dr’s statement was also forwarded to me

When I enquired how much short , they informed that they were short by 38,000 rupees

I told them I would transfer this amount directly to the hospital , they resisted strongly saying there account was going to be debited and the hospital would use these funds for some other things (which I found extremely strange)

I sent a person from my office to verify the patients presence , much to my aghast there was no patient in the hospital by this name.

I started getting a barrage of calls from people claiming to be parents , Dr’s etc - all these are fake and scamsters.

Please do not fall for Vandana Walia , Diya Medicare Foundation, Santosh Singh or any people who claim to be hospital staff or children’s parents - WITHOUT PROPER VERIFICATION.

Have filed a complaint with Cyber cell to report these people.
