To Whom It May Concern:
I am the Brother of Davonda Fluker she is currently in the custody of Department of Child and Family services Fall River Massachusetts. With the help of her case worker (Connie Periera) Davonda has been in a very unhealthy situation of being mistreated, and isolated from the family for many years. Over the years many 51 A's had been filed, I'm not exactly sure that follow-ups or investigations had taken place. Davonda was placed in the Italian Home (without much of the family's knowledge) for a two year period around the age of 9. Therefore she was only allowed to have only my Aunt Denise Bailey and possibly her sons Joseph Bailey and Bobby Bailey on her call and visiting list for two years. Many barriers were set in place through the two parties, so that no one could have access to Davonda. Cousins as well as aunts Sheena and Andrea attempted to take custody of Davonda, but each of them were shut down, and Davonda was made to believe that they no longer wanted her and had "abandoned" her. So she was sent back to Denise's, where she "disrupted" after being mistreated again. Davonda was again bounced out of the home and sent to other homes in and around Fall River Massachusetts.
In between, personally confronted Connie Periera and her supervisor during a meeting that I received after writing a long letter to the Ombudsmans office, and the Governor's office. Sheena wrote a letter stating her experience with Connie as Davonda's worker. Sheena can attest to the fact that Connie has made statements saying "why should anybody want Davonda" and stating negative things about Davonda's family. In my letters I asked for Davonda's case to be transferred to a different office (Boston) with a different worker. Primarily one who can be more sensitive to families and children in this type of situation, and who is willing to carry out the DCF mission statement "reuniting children with families."
Currently Davonda has been excited and asking to attend the family cookout. Connie has rejected her request. She's asking to speak to, and see her family, and Connie continues to reject her requests, asking her "why" she would want to see or be with her family, in addition to referring her back to Denise as the family member she can have contact with.
In close contact with the Ombudsmans office, and Joanne McGovern (some form of an assistant) is aware of everything happening up to this date. She guided us through steps for trying to obtain custody of Davonda. We forwarded all written documents that were requested by DCF, 7 months ago. Recently DCF has informed us that our received paperwork has expired on their time (as Connie held on to the paperwork and did not proceed), and they would like for us to white out dates, write new dates, and resubmit. Well we refuse to play this game with DCF, and Joanne has informed us that her office needs to receive letters in regards to this case.
Davonda is our family, and upon our mother's passing, the promise to Gayle that we would do everything possible to make sure Davonda has a safe healthy home. With Connie having control of this case, she's made this very impossible. Davonda is currently expressing alot of frustration around how the system is treating her. She deserves more, and this story goes far beyond what I have said. Davonda knows the absolute truth! I cannot make a difference alone. We'd like her case to be transferred from the Fall River office altogether. We are not asking that you all try to get us custody; rather we just need someone less bias and more nurturing to an African American child's needs, to handle this case. Davonda is 14 years old now. Please help be Davonda's voice, because right now she is aware that her rights are being violated, but DCF has taken away her voice.

Taunton County, Massachusetts caseworker removed my kid. Not 1 lawyer care to sue for me,I've called so many, but as soon as they hear I had a drug problem, it's out the window, their care and or the willingness to want to represent me, in a lawsuit against 2 caseworkers violating my right.
I now know, I can do it on my own, it's called self file, pro-se way. I found law students, consulting team, research consult team, have not let me down, there for me, more than any court appointed paid lawyer has been, just letting you all know, I suffer too. My kid, (before) i served em with lawsuit, my rights were almost terminated, my parental rights terminated by Taunton, DCF almost, if i didn't learn how to sue, do it on my own, learn it. then all of the sudden, God showed up, blessed me, alot, when i got my suit started, served caseworker as others. I am blessed now. Just want to say, it truly made all the difference.

I learned that "talking" about it is just "talk"wasting time, and "No real action"by not suing"is just letting Massachusetts DCF No good ffraud caseworker get away with it." I am ok now. Never again they are going to be violating me, or my sons
age 13, 5 and barely 2 years old, never again, since i sued. Not alot of "real good or any help out there" so i hope those suing, hold on to the blessed type of help you got,if you ever find it,before time is up to sue. or before rights terminated." Glad i am as we speak,bye all.

My violation like i said earlier, only went away after I sued, and when i serve em suit, no rights terminated.
DCF now got me smiling, because I am suing them b-stard workers, they stop violating us, when i did, serve them, the suit, all by my self, pro-se(the self file way it's called) while no lawyer help me, they didn't care. I now know, I will be ok. Never will have my rights terminated.I am now smiling again, by suing #TauntonCountyDCF bye all. Good night.
dcf is taking these baby, children from their loving home by fabricating the truth to suit them and there afidavit to the judge for custody. This is all about jobs and keeping them. There using our children as pay checks.. It needs to stop their using their power to do what they want and don't care about what it is doing to our families emotionally.The Fall River department has destroyed my family and my poor children 3, 2, and 9 months are so hurt and confused it is heart breaking.. What can be done?
My former son-in-law fled the state of FL with my grandson. Heading back to his home town of Fall River where he basically neglected my grandson and my daughter went to MA to retrieve her son? His relatives called the police who in turn called DCF in Fall River. After finding allegations against the father, they removed my grandson and are trying now to adopt him out. Even though my daughter has done everything requested of her in her Service Plan. DCF is making the excuse that she had 9 months to complete the Service Plan, but yet it took 8 months for the worker to even get her the Service Plan so she would know what she had to do. One condition being a 6 month class which has taken her over the 9 month deadline. Now, DCF has scheduled a hearing for adoption! No allegations or charges were made against my daughter! Myself would take custody of my grandson, gladly. How can they do this to us and take a family member away when there has not been anything against my daughter in way of her son? Someone needs to stop this conglomeration of bureaucrats that are hurting more than they are helping!
I think what we all need to do is name names of the singel DCF social workers and go after them in private litigation with out dcf's cover of imunity. I was threatend, told that the dcf worker would write what ever they wanted regardless of what i or others said (read this as long term family Docrtors) and that dcf would back her up no matter what she did. On a different ocation I was told that the dcf worker would willing write what ever she wanted (read this as falusifie documents / swearing / screaming) and bring them to one of our crocked dfc judges who are in our pockets! The case was unsuported in a weekley meeting by this workers supervisior. This worker "un-suported" it and memorilized the weekely meting where she was told to do this dcf's internal paper work 51b. The dcf worked refused to chance it in the searchable computer data base dispite being told it by her boss.
Lets put the names and addresses up on the web. Search the state data dase for a licence of the social worked and you will get the town they live in as a public document. Than search the name and town for a street address
I absolutely agree. A few years ago my father was caught abusing me and DCF was involved. I understand their concern for me in the case with my father, but what did they have against my mother. She had no knowledge of his abuse at the time, and I was too scared at the time to mention anything to her. DCF made it seem like my mother didn't care and twisted words in her mouth. And what's worse, since I did not want to testify they made it seem like my mother and I were lying about everything. They decided that since we no longer wanted to disclose information with them since our trust with them was lost, that WE were the bad guys. They even tried to get me to go against my mother telling me that she did nothing to stop him or to help me. All along trying to seem like they're "helping" me and wanting to "keep me with my mother." At the time I was sixteen so I was old enough, and luckily mature enough to understand what I was dealing with. They tried so hard to brainwash me, but while I was still not technically and adult, I was also not a child. Despite the abuse by my father, my mother raised a bright young women. I basically told DCF they can suck it, I wasn't telling them anything that they can even think about twisting around. I didn't tell them crap, and neither did my mom. They couldn't do anything, so they closed the case, and I think I turned out ok. I am 19 going on 20 now and I can honestly say it's sad how a department supposedly so dedicated to children almost ruined my life, and HAS ruined so many others. It is despicable.
I completely agree that dcf rips families apart..I had my children taken from me in 2005 and never got them back!I too was in a domestic relationship and had my children taken from me.They were eventually adopted after i did everything in my power to get them back.I too tried to let someone in my family take custody and they were all denied.Even though my mother already had one of my children in her custody and still to this day does.I think that the department is corrupt.Get this my children were adopted by a fall river police officer who probably has it pretty good in the court, right?I had no fighting chance...they were taken from me and already adopted basically the day i lost them.i wish i could get them back now.I agree some children shouldnt live with their biological parents but this was not the case in my situation.
dcf has no real care about children's needs they take them from a loving home sometimes and they just bounce them around it is even more crazy how the law allows this 2 happen i am currently fighting dcf i am appealing my case all the way 2 boston supreme court i had my 3 kids taken away due 2 the fact i was in a domestic violence relationship so i left my kids father and they pulled my kids right after my kids want to be home with me and i been fighting over a yr i did every thing they wanted me to do i been away from my kids father this whole time living in my own place and paying my bills on my own there as 2 be away we can change the law in mass because really all dcf does is rip families apart
