I got two different kinds, and almost half of the seeds from the first kind had already started sprouting! And with the second kind, almost all of them had started sprouting too! David also sent me some really good instructions through email, and I'm following them really closely. I'm super excited to see that I'll have a bunch of healthy plants from these super fresh seeds! Even on them popular sites like eBay, I'd often get screwed over by either the seller or them customs fellas when tryin' to get somethin' as harmless as desert rose seeds. But lemme tell ya, my search for a certain hard-to-find plant was goin' nowhere through them usual channels. I was thinkin' 'bout postin' wanted ads on a few forums and was ready to send money to complete strangers who just claimed they'd send me them desired seeds, with no guarantee whatsoever. That's how dang difficult it is to get these seeds, and I was willin' to go to great lengths. But then, by pure luck, I stumbled upon dbotany.com. I checked out the site and saw all the time 'n effort put into it, and all them original pictures that couldn't be found nowhere else with that Google reverse image search thingy. That's a basic way to weed out them scam sites from the real deal. So, I figured, as far as the seller goes, this was my best shot at gettin' them hard-to-find seeds. I decided to buy two of them exotic species they had for sale 'cause I wanted to go all in with shippin' 'n customs. Plus, these sites tend to disappear real quick, so I wanted to grab what I could while it was still there, even though Dbotany has been online for quite a few years. That's another good sign that the website's legit, ya know?

So, my seeds arrived through DHL Express mail in a package that was wrapped up tighter than a drum. It took me forever to open it, I tell ya. On the final innermost layer, there was a plant name label, which I found pretty darn funny. And inside, I found two zip-lock baggies filled with sphagnum moss. I dumped that moss out on a plate and started siftin' through it, and guess what? I found more seeds than what was advertised. I got me a few extras!

I wasted no time plantin' them seeds in marked pots, usin' a mix of 70% peat moss, 20% gardenin' soil, and 10% perlite. That's the mix I use for all them acid-lovin' plants. Just checked today, and 18 of my favorite variety of seeds done poked their heads above the soil. Two of 'em even shed their seed coats and grew their first set of true leaves.

Now, them other variety of seeds I got are takin' their sweet time to sprout. But I dug up one of 'em and saw a root pokin' out, so I reckon I just gotta be patient a bit longer.

To sum it all up, I got my seeds and they done sprouted already. I reckon that fella Thomas F. might just be a shill, paid to bring down the credibility of them few websites like dbotany that are still kickin'. Don't let 'em fool ya, this place is the real deal.
