My complaint is ..
This guy is pursuing a lawsuit against me to try and collect from a debt (I guess he bought) that I have with a cc. The company that I supposedly owe the money to, has "charged off" the debt and closed the account ..
GOOD RIDINS, TO HORRIBLE RUBBISH .. didnt hurt my feelings a bit!
For several Years, I paid and I paid on this debt, until I was damn near blue in the face and the balance just wouldn't go down then, the unemployment came when I lost my job several years ago, and have had to head south on paying ANY bills, other then bare necessaties, mortgage, electric, water, sewer, food, gas, etc, etc.
LOOK AROUND .. I am not the only one unemployed
Well .. after being a US tax paying citizen fo many years and seeing HUGE AMOUNTS of our tax dollars going to "bailout" these multi billion dollar corporations, I sit and wonder .. what is the difference between me and them .. Where is my bailout? If I have had to default on my cc then so be it .. I will have to suffer for the next several years living without credit while they continue to get richer off the backs of hard working americans like myself. I believe debt collection should be on either a income sliding table or case by case and if you cant pay then go home and live with bad credit.
How is it that the same dollar I work for, is not as valuable as it would be if I loaned it to someone .. THEN and only then, can I charge an exorberant amount of interest at whatever amount I want, and get away with it. Over the course of having the c-card I more then paid for what I recieved in merchandise

Well, after a BBB complaint, which they refuse to comply with so we are getting no where on that one. Midland remover it from my credit report, CitiBank just sent me a letter saying that they have had numerous complaints filed and have said it was sold and is a paid chargeoff. However, Daniel Gordon still is garniching me leaving me with $800.00 a month. I just can't pay on anything but rent, electric and water and sewer. They refuse to respond and refuse to give money back. They told me I would have to go after Midland. CROOKS and unethical. Someone needs to yank their licenses.
OOPS, I forgot to say that they have been garnishing me and I am barely making rent payment. The balance isn't getting any lower either. It seems that all the money goes towards their fees and non e towards a debt that was originally with HSBC ( who lost a blanket lawsuit inn which I was a plantiff) Daniel Gordon was sent all of this information. They told me to take it up with Midland, that they owe me nothing.
I too am a victim of Daniel Gordon. I have filed a complaint with the BBB and their response was to take it up with Midland. I have called Midland and told them about what Daniel Gordon ha to say. They asked me who? I said the say they represent you. You had to remove the information from my credit file, remember? Still trying to fix this mess. Truly are scam artists.
Went to my bank, and the few hundred I had was gone in one day, and charged $100 service charge. Never received any mail, and was never served. I was later contacted two weeks after my account had been emptied. From now on I guess I need to keep any cash under my mattress (just joking to poor to have a mattress or a room big enough for a bed- sleep on a love-seat-1/2 sized couch). He's making $ just by not bothering to serve people, and then lying in court stating people have been served. He deals with cases for low debt so low, that a real attorney would never bother dealing with it. He is preying on people who are in debt, and therefor no recourse.
Have to keep any $ out of banks at this point. Thank God I had a couple of part-time job checks, or I really would be homeless.
