I received authorization for access a ride 2 months ago on 04/11/2018 after applying due to brain surgery. After surgery I was left with balance and coordination issues and left side weakness. This CTG broker service does not act like they are dealing with disabled people here is my list of reasons why?
1. They will not even get out and help you open the door
2. They claim that access a ride does not pay the tolls. So if you don't pay the told they will keep you in the car for longer than necessary to go the long way around. (on 06/10/2019 my pick up was scheduled for 2:30 pm they picked me up @ 2:10 pm and I got home after 4:00 pm as he had to ride across the entire borough of queens for an hour to use the free queens borough bridge)
3. No disabled person should be made to feel like the are getting a favor from the broker company access a ride has contracted with (on 06/08/2019 I had a 3:00 pm pick up and was picked up a little after 4:00 pm and the driver had an attitude and stated look "I could have just canceled and you would still be waiting for another ride. It is the company they put the far away rides in 5 minute time slots" Then she was going downtown so I asked where are we going and she started yelling at me. I may be disabled but I am still human so I do not want to ride with CTG broker service again.
To add insult to injury on 06/10/2019 when I called to make the complaint the worker who answered the comment or complaint line first comment when I stated the woman was yelling at me on Saturday was what did you do. This is unacceptable what I did was pay taxes for 4 decades in order that those who are disabled can receive help, only to become disabled and be treated like this.
MTA PARA TRANSIT AUTHORITY NEEDS TO DO BETTER. Now I see why there was a need for the Americans with disabilities act. When a person becomes disabled they are still to be treated with dignity and respect. CTG broker service is incapable of that and should not be allowed to work with handicapped people. I full plan on reporting CTG broker service subsidiary to MTA Para transit authority to the Americans with disabilities and whoever else so that their ability to mistreat disabled people is cut off by some governmental authority.

I want to be removed from receiving services from CTG broker services immediately. I will not be treated this way just to clarify on 05/08/2019 I was picked up at 2:45 pm from 130-20 89th road Richmond hill queens and did not arrive home until almost 7:00 pm. Why because CTG claimed access a ride does not pay tolls. I called access a ride from the care and asked for same day trip problems and was told access a ride does pay tolls but that company doesn't. This is unacceptable I was in the car almost four (4) hours unable to use the bathroom for a 1 hour ride.
HOW DOES MTA PARA TRANSIT ACCESS A RIDE ALLOW THIS>
DO NOT BOOK ME WITH THIS SERVICE AGAIN!

Good afternoon,

My name is Frantzdy Printemps, I have been working as an independent contractor with this Access A Ride Broker company called Corporate Transportation Group (CTG) located at 241 37th Street Brooklyn, NY 11231. I offer my service to the community mainly to the people with disabilities as a driver, the company makes drivers sign a contract and never issue a copy of the contract when asked for it,they are ripping drivers off and most of the drivers are afraid to come forward because of CTG retaliation against them. I file a complaint with the New York City Taxi and Limousines Commission regarding the issues at CTG, I would like for the media to help me share the word out to the community and to assure the drivers that they are not alone, and we all have rights to speak against injustice in the workplace especially when we are being taking advantage of for the work we do.

Not sure how people can give them good reviews. Bunch of stupid [censored] are working at that company. My mom is using this broker company as part of her access a ride to go to and from work, etc. When it’s time to pick up my mom and she realizes that no one is picking her up, she calls to ask them where is the car and they always make up stupid stories, either the driver finished for the day, got stolen by aliens- they make up [censored]ty stories every time. They pretend like they are sending a car your way, but the car never even existed in the first place. My mother uses access a ride through them because she has problems with her legs. She is always late everything because of these liars. The major liars there is their stupid dispatcher Nicholas and operator Oksana, Alex, Jonathan, etc. They promise you the car and never send it. It’s a fraud company. Don’t trust them. Beware!

I Don't know where Açess A Ride got this Company from, but it is the worst service they have. They look for a car for me one hour before my pick up making me late for my Doctor appointment I call AAR the day before my schedule, then I call that service they still didn't have a car. One time had to wait one hour before they came to pick me up. That

Department do not know how to make a schedule Nothing seem to be fix yet or AAR need to find another company Don't blame the driver blame the dispatcher Need to get better service

This company even sends out infomationless texts to have you believe a vehicle is on its way. No license plate number, no car description and no driver phone number. This is an attempt to cover there [censored].

I really didn’t realize how horrible CTG was until reading this. I have pretty much experienced EVERY complaint here. I am a disabled veteran and I have never been treated so badly in all of my life. CTG will lie to you about your vehicle being en route and you still wait over 40 minutes. I will have a 2:00pm pickup and at 4pm, no text, no call and no car, EVER! I blame MTA because they have so many complaints about this company and they have done absolutely nothing to fix it. Also, did you know that CTG will say you canceled a pickup and they will still get paid for it. 😡😡😡😡😡

Margaret, you are NOT ALONE! Many people are experiencing excessively long wait times and rides to their destinations. I work as a NYC Teacher and am a paraplegic who is also on dialysis. Several times now they have been "still looking for a car" to get me home. I then have to take two buses and wheel to my home. I believe this now requiers some sort of legal action by the disabled community in NYC to get the attention of the MTA, CTG and New York city as a whole.
