Good day. In Decemeber 2021 I was notified of a consignment for parcel received from Estonia via Crown Express Couriers. At thr time they demanded import fees of R2, 850. Due to my unemployment status I was unable to pay these fees even after requesting for an extension. I explained my position and asked if I could arrange for part payment. This was rejected. My complaint is with regards to their conduct. Their agents were totally unempathetic and they were abrasive in their approach. They refused to reply or confirmed their course of action in an email. At no point did I feel like a customer. My communication was always met with hostility and annoyance. This is not the conduct of a reputable organization, and I demand that their conduct be taken to task.
