Craftways Corporation review: christmas cross stitch I never ordered and returned unopened

I received the package and never opened it. I have purchased the calendars many times, even recently and never had this difficulty. I wrote on the outside of the fully unopened package, "Refused, return to sender" and sent it back in the mail. It did not come back to my home but I received two additional requests for payment. I tore off the slip to return both times and stated on the slip returned each time in the envelope as well as the bottom half I saved for my records: "returned unopened, do not have it." Yesterday, I received a notice threatening to send me to collections because this was the fourth notice and no payment was received.

Why should I pay for a book that I never asked for, never opened, returned unopened and refused and I do not have in my possession? I have searched online and see that the local BBB has 6 complaints in the last year - all visible ones showing the same pattern of behavior. Are you monitoring and correcting the behavior of your subsidiary? Some of the complaints also state the issue of even trying to contact the company (phone line disconnected, phone line no longer connected to company, person directed to speak with is never available). I expect this issue to be dealt with with the utmost urgency to:

1) correct the behaviors that continue to be evident in this company
2) correct my account showing 100% that the book was returned and my account balance at zero
3) stop all further billings, threats, and shipments (I never want to be put in this situation again).
