I went to the website www.powerlending.com. I applied for payday loan through them, but it wasn’t mentioned that they would take money from me completely for nothing. I only filled one form and that was all. After that I checked account and noticed charge in amount of $70. WTF? I wonder if there are people, who face the same problems. What measures do you take in order to stop it?
I had applied March 21, 2018, for a personal.loamd and had the "Director of Sales, " Ernesto Conder contact me via email, stating; to contact him in regards to a personal loan that I apply for. The number that I called on the email was for their billing department and the customer service representative was unaware of even who of who he was. When I ask to speak to a supervisor the customer representative refuse over 20 times to let me speak to him and for what because he was the billing department. After about 10 more minutes of going back and forth with the rep he put me on hold to get the supervisor but then got back on the phone and just gave me a phone number which is [protected] of another of a different department that he said could help me. The reason why I wanted to speak to the manager was to find out why I was getting an email from someone who is posing as an employee be able to get my information and who works in your company. When I called and asked in so many different ways, the rep informed that I was calling the billing and he couldn't even find my social in the database. He didn't even know who the person was that contacted me nor if he had anyone who even works there by the name I gave ERNESTO CONDER. This incident happened today and I will be calling the phone number given and will update and put in a formal complaint as soon as I get to the bottom of this issue.
