Watertight Roofing review: Poor workmanship and no response to repair 1

I have several complaints regarding this roofing contractor. The two most important problems are the roof leaks around the chimney and the metal trim is horrible, especially at the corners. These problems may have ruined my house if I had not noticed . Additionally, the contractor never explained the different types of shingles. If I had known there were up-grades I would have went for the better shingle. The contractor, John Cobb, never kept his word on when he was going to complete the job. Before I left for a planned vacation, he said it would be completed while I was gone. When I returned from vacation the job was not completed.

Also, his men left some garbage and it had been there prior to my vacation. I assumed they would pick it up when they completed the job. I informed John Cobb and his partner Mike of the important problems and neither addressed it but said they would. The most galling of it all was that they were next door putting a new roof on my neighbor’s house while I was waiting for my work to be completed. Now I have to go out and hire a contractor to fix the leak and the metal trim. I want the consumer to be aware; this was a terrible experience for me.

I own WaterTight Roofing Inc. out of Fort Worth Texas, and we only do commercial roofing. Just want to clear up any confusion on my company. I'm sure there are other Watertight's out there, but this complaint is not about us.
