The company is Travelosity and Yahoo Travel. They get my vacation plan to Disney World all screwed up and I cannot cancel or change the plan. Hold times for hours - I was told at one point the hold time was 4 hours. I was on hold for an hour on one phone - switched to another - got someone who was not authorized to help and then put on hold for 1 hour before I hung up both phones. Hidden fees, long hold times, poor service and failure to admit mistakes - avoid!

Avoid! I lost over $200 on these clowns on my last trip. I booked 2 nights using Secret Hotel. However, I entered the wrong city. I called them immediatelly but since the reservation was made (even 2 months in advance) they couldnt cancel without charing a 100 percent cancellation fee. Wow, so I didnt use Secret Hotel for next reservation. We had to change dates with plenty of notice. They did the same thing. Rude. Rigid, uncaring. AVOID

For reasons like this I set up my own private travel website, called www.travelosity.de, or better travelOSITY

I do care about my customers and want to provide great vacation packages which you can enjoy, without all the troubles mentioned above!

My girlfriend purchased tickets on yahoo/travelosity a few months ago. I called to change the dates. They said their would a fee for the difference and a fee for them to do it. I told them the I.D. number and they made the change. The cost was more then the original tickets. They asked me how I wanted to pay. I gave the rep. my card number and she told me the new itenerary. Two days later my girlfriend calls me and says her bank account is negative and has overdraft fees. I call yahoo and ask why this was done and whose going to pay these overdraft fees. The "forth" service rep. tells me "we had no record the card you gave." So that means anybody that knows our names and trip I.D. can alter a trip and they will charge a card without any autherization. This is really bad service.

Wow! I booked a trip for my brother and nephew to watch the home run derby and all-star game for this Monday/Tuesday. I put them up in the Sheraton at Times Square it cost me an arm and a leg (over $1, 700) but my nephew has cancer and I wanted it to be a trip of a lifetime for him and his dad. I booked a flight on American Airlines flight #840 leaving at 8:45 am and landing at New York (LGA) at 12:05 pm. Then I got them travel vouchers to take a shuttle from the airport to the hotel at an expense of $70. I was away for a week and when I got the email from "The Travelocity Team" there flight was now leaving in the evening and arriving just in time to miss the home run derby at 10:15 pm on flight 1790. How this happened was that I cliked on the flight that I wanted and then the hotel that I wanted, but they listed a king sized bed not a dbl. So I cliked on the dbl bed knowing my nephew would be more comfortable in his own bed. When I did that appearantly the flight went back to the original flight (not the flight I had clicked). I had also purchased another room for my wife, son and I to join them at $1, 240.60 aswell. I then called "The Travelocity Team" to correct the problem. I was on the phone for two hours with them and this is the help they came up with. They could get my brother and his son on the flight originally that I chose for an additional $850+. Needless to say this will be the last time I go through this "TEAM" again. They did say that if I cancelled the whole trip I could get the money back on the shuttle vouchers. But nothing on the flights or hotel money. To Jackie ID#A5I and the other helpful "Team members", KISS MY ###! I will be doing business elsewere in the future and I will tell my story as often as I can. I may not be able to get my money back, but I sure as hell hope to shine an ugly light on this company, albeit truthful light.
