The service is horrible. The owner of the company is Martha Yungk. We met with her directly, and she made it seem that there was a whole team of professionals in her office working on issues. In reality, she is only one that works on taxes. The other people in the office are just secretaries and filing clerks.

There were some errors on our taxes and we hired her to correct them. She said that it would take a couple weeks and she would have everything straightened out. In the mean time, she said that the IRS would not be charging us any interest, since they had already received the funds required, they were just deposited to the wrong IRS account. She also instructed us to forward any contact from the IRS to her and she would straighten handle it on our behalf.

Despite multiple weekly phone calls and e-mails asking for status on how the taxes were coming along, she strung us along saying that they were nearly done and she just needed a little more time. We even went down to her office in person several times with no progress at all. Finally, after over a year of getting the run around from her, she finally delivered the taxes. We immediately filed them and the IRS informed us that her tax revisions were incorrect, she never contacted them on our behalf and that they had continued to charge us interest over that wasted year with “The Tax Professional” and that we now owed them over $5, 000 more in penalty interest.

This organization has by no means operated in a "Professional" manner and you are better off taking your business elsewhere.

Martha is very rude and unprofessional. She's the only one in her business that is certified to prepare taxes everyone else is just there to answer calls and file. If you want faster and better service your best bet is to go elsewhere.

I agree! Martha misleads you to think she has a whole professional team. I've called in the past inquiring about face-to-face tax preparation and was told she doesn't have time but would answer any questions I have over the phone. Well, whenever I had a question, I waited for Martha to return my call a day later or stay on the phone until she's available. The young lady answering the phone would write your questions down and pass to Martha for an answer. Her sole purpose was to monitor the phones. However, I must admit, the finished documentations provided for your records were beyond my expectations but not enough to stick around due to lack of professional service.

I am a Certified Tax Pro. I know this is frightening but keep your wits about you.

IMMEDIATELY TAKE these returns to H&R Block and get them fixed A.S.A.P. ALL their preparers are certified and registered with the IRS (PTIN). And, they don't mess around! They are constantly updated, ethical, and responsible. They work for YOU, they're affordable, and will be by your side.

Did Yungk SIGN your return and include her PTIN? If she did, she has some culpability here. In either case, report her to the IRS.

1. Always ask a prospective preparer (including accoutants) about their certification and if they have a PTIN.

2. NEVER pay anyone for your tax return UNLESS they have signed, dated, and included their PTIN on your return.

3. IF they have a PTIN but REFUSE to sign and PTIN your return, they are refusing to be responsible for their work.

4. If they don't have a PTIN, they are not enrolled with the IRS as a Paid Professional Tax Preparer and are not allowed to prepare taxes for pay.

I have seen many accountants and cpa's NOT take the responsibility to file extensions on behalf of their clients while taking a year to complete the return, inform clients ahead of time of what to expect to pay the IRS, etc. Accountants specialize in accounting not tax prep.
