Syntel hr

My name is Tumesh Khatri. I completed my B.com in 2009. I applied many times in Syntel. They have not selected me even one time. Worst company I have ever interviewed. Don't apply in this company. HR Blacklisted me with no reason. Now I have applied so many years and they don't even remember Now they have blacklisted me because Syntel itself is a blacklisted company and Thank God I will never work in this company.

Syntel Syntel Fires people without any reason! Syntel is crap company.

Syntel is purely ### company. There is no proper work there. No process is being followed.
Person who has Syntel experience don't get jobs. The person who licks managers, Higher managers feet are only promoted and raised. Your hard work, smart work is not seen here. It is manager centric company.
80% Hr managers are trainee's here. They don't know about hr management policies actually they don't know anything. They are only mangers, delivery managers, delivery directors puppet. You will see them 60% of time with delivery managers and delivery directors...and most hr's are mostly ladies..

Managers are criminals they force the girls who are freshly joined to sleep with them my making their conditions worst...buy not giving work.. and by putting unreasonable pressure .

Delivery managers are cartoons they just do gossip among themselves and pulls their team members, junior managers legs.
They even fool clients!

The women who sleeps with managers and senior managers are only raised and promoted and those women who not are fired through unreasonable charge.
They completely break women's mind by sexually harassing them through their dirty looks and by taunting them.

Hr Head who is global head of Syntel... who said that they sack 3000 employees ...because they didn't performed well .This person himself is biggest jerk. He has done BA from some ###, fraud foreign institute..
And he thinks of himself as company's runner.

Women who where skirts are only raised, even if they don't know anything. The women's who don't wear skirts and don't show their panties are not raised or promoted they fire them up by ### reasons or put them on bench and make them jobless .They even put performance failure allegation on them.

Men's are pulled down even if they worked hard and worked smartly. Managers don't speak properly, plays dirty politics. Managers are filthy minded and dark hearted persons.

I only say Guys! stay away from Syntel...Working here will completely destroy you.

They completely destroys employees Mental Health, Physical Health and Social relations.

The managers and senior managers do complete corporate prostitution business here...they even send those prostitute ### to their foreign clients .

Syntel Harassment with malicious intent

On July 12th and 16th this year, two personal email accounts were filled with email subscriptions. The subscriptions used personal identifiers and provided emails used only for specific private communication. The subscriptions made specific inferences and were harassing. The originating IP was identified from a subscrition received on [protected], and has been traced to a network computer at Syntellect.

The company privacy policy states no personal information will be provided to other sources. In addition, the policy states they do not have a secure site for the transmission of information, creating further jeopardy of others accessing information. At no time have I ever provided Syntellect with any personal information including the email addresses used in the subscriptions originating from the Syntellect network.

Personal safety is of the utmost concern. I am presently bringing forward information in an open criminal investigation in another state. The company or someone in their employ has violated their privacy policy with malicious intent and placed me at risk. It is imperative to address the issue with company officials avoiding notification that might further compromise anyone's safety.

Syntel PF reject - no action taken from syntel for there own mistakes

I had applied for withdrawal for my PF in the month of August 2011 and Syntel Chennai HR team has not bothering to reply to my emails now that my PF withdrawal has been rejected from PF office chennai and they have informed to me that syntel has not sent my 3A form to PF office. Due to this bad and hopeless process i had to quite the company no manners no process no idea what they did to get CMMI certificate for there company. Totally hopeless employees in HR team Chennai. - Ashwini Simha

Syntel Dint get my joining date

Hi evry1 this is raju from chennai. I got selected for syntel in the month of december 2010. They have sent me the offer i had accepted it. But till date they dint send me any details regarding the date of join. I have requested them a lot by sending emails. But they did not respond to me atleast once. They dont even lift the calls. Can anyone of you help me by giving a fine solution.

yes, though its an mnc it doesnt follow certain rules of giving DOJ earlier to the people who have got selected. But surely they will give joining. But this proces may go atleast 2 years from since it started giving doj. my friends who had selected for syntel in 2008 were given doj in april 2010. In meantime u search a job atleast u ll get some industry experiance...

Syntel Makes employees work on weekends

They call themselves trusted offshore vendor for Humana but the way they maintain trust is by bullying employees to work on weekends, use personal laptop and phone for company work and create an environment where, in the name of relationship building, they breed feudalism. At humana, this is a highly charged political environment, where humana keeps their eyes closed and lets syntel contractors be treated as slave labor. i will NOT recommend anyone work either at Humana or Syntel.

Syntel Fined for wrong charges and pollice man not monitoring the traffic

Hi,
I was passing signal at Tilak road (Pune) towards left coming from Aranyeshwar colony. Signal was red, however allowing to go to left by showing green signal for left direction. A traffic warden stopped me for signal cutting.
Police man (V. K. Kamarkar Reg. no. 2092) came and asked traffic warden why did you stopped him and then took my driving license. As I was having a debate on same, it was all in vain. One car committed offense by cutting signal and nobody paying attention towards it. Same was then followed by two bikes and even they were left. When I asked why is this lottery system? He replied I am busy with cutting your chalan.
Then again debate started, as traffic warden stopped me and not police man (V. K. Kamarkar Reg. no. 2092). He was reluctant to accept his mistake and was giving all the irrelevant and illogical reasons. I had to pay him Rs 100 because I was travelling that day and needed my license for the same. How can I hold up this point with the point and make police man (V. K. Kamarkar Reg. no. 2092) know his responsibilities.

Syntel employment with Syntel

I had very bad experience with Syntel intially I thought it was just me but after spending certain amount of time with Syntel it was not just me there are many who were victims of Syntel & all I can say is worst company ever seen & worked with..there are no pros but I do have long never ending list of cons.I don't want to list them but would definitely not recommend this company even if you are on bench for good amount of time just wait for better company.

200% will not recommend this company

I am agree with you all. I have selected in Syntel 4 months prior for Testing (That day opening was only for Testing & DBA). On joining date they forcefully placed me under IMS by saying, If u r not intrested you can leave now. But as i was fresher i hadnt any choice. Training overd in a month & till date m on bench (3 Months). So called managers are very rude & treating fresherd like (C****ya).

I completely agree. I was with Syntel for some time but quite this company as soon as I realized that this company is heavily involved in lying and screwing its clients. Most of their so called managers are not even fit to be janitors in IT company. Everything that they promise initially while offering the job, they will do exactly opposite when it's time to fulfill that promise.

I have been interviewed by Syntel for two different clients. After 3 technical rounds and one client interview, the HR has sent me an email mentioning about the offer letter. When I followed up the next day, as the letter was not rolled out, they mentioned that I had to attend one more round of interview. I agreed and one gentleman called me, and asked about my experience/roles/responsibilities. He had given his feedback to the HR and told me to wait for the call.
That afternoon when I called the HR, they told me to wait for a week for the offer.. since they are forming a team. WTF! 3 rounds of interview/1 client interview + 1 manager interview ... at the end the guys respond to me saying " please accept any offer you have at hand, since the process might get delayed"! This describes the HR process at Syntel. They aren't sure on the requirement.. the delivery managers are not sure on when to hire a candidate. If you (Syntel) are not sure about a requirement, why the hell are you conducting interviews by wasting others time?

Syntel Stay away from syntel

Not a process oriented. Purely manager oriented. Managers are dictators.
Performance evaluation process is really pathatic.
No system for feed back.
Worst managers. 70% of managers are managers because they are with syntel for years, they are not even capable of being a s / w professional.
Worst pay hike in industry. I have seen people received less than 2000 rs / - yearly hike, so hike per day less than 5 rs / - , with that you don't even get a 'vada pav'.
Its a cmm level 5 company. They do maintain that by cheating the inspecting officer by showing all kinds of unfollowed processes that they are doing all that stuff.
Cheats clients and employees as well.
Very poor employee satisfaction.
No trasferency.

my friend had joined syntel pune but asked for a transfer to mumbai to stay with his parents as his father had gone a major head surgery just 5 days before joining and was going to have a surgery again in 45 days n his mom is a cancer patient..his parents needed him. When he asked for a transfer to mumbai to stay with his parents and submitted all the required medical certificates the hr manager said that they will transfer him after a mnth and then after that he requested them a lot for two more mnths. but when they didn't cooperate at all he came home and didn't go again. he broke the bond by doing so. now they are harrassing him by sending mails that they will take some legal action as he has not paid the bond amount. Will they really take a legal action?

This is a pathetic company. There are couple of factors those drives to the downfall of this company.
1) Management :: Whether higher or lower management, this has failed customer satisfaction and employee satisfaction. No proper co-ordination between all departments. Townhall is just like simple meeting. Issues and concerns of the employees hard to get them resolved. Cant see any good leader till now in past two years. Except R.Khanna Saheb cracking good humerous jokes and trying to resolve few issues. Managers are the real culprits of downfall. They are not skilled not even capable of managing things properly but they are still managers. I doubt if someone from higher manager evaluates or watching this. Otherwise get 360 degree feedback.
2) Admin :: Cafeteria looks like fish market. Whenever you enter there will be lot of non hard working labours. This is not their fault. They simply sits and chats there because of they don't have proper or much work. So here question comes if you dont have much work then why you are not generating work? This looks silly. Admin department only thinks of saving power electricity bills. There are TVs but earlier they used to put news on them. Now these are just show off. Pantry are dangerous. You dont even get proper clean water, hot water. One doctor sits in mumbai airoli location. I doubt he is a doctor. Looks he is a just Bsc pass.
3) PDAC :: I dont even not sure what the hell these people are for in syntel. They dont have common sense. They simply can put anyone in any projects. I think this dept is a disaster if consider to the downfall of syntel. Just fire them. Simply do something else. Sometimes they quarrel for resources in vertical level. They think that they are the boss. They can do whatever they want.
4) Concept of Lean :: This sounds like great. But reall scenario is bit different. No one cares what is going on. If you have an idea you will feel that you only have to implement it. There is not concept of team. You can not find a working environment. But there are lot of resources having proper brain to implement. But they have fear like why i have to do it alone.
5) HR :: In syntel HR means NO HR. You can feel If there is no HR also syntel can grow some revenue because syntel can save some good amount of salaries of HRs. I doubt even if they know proper excel sheet work. They are not even interacting to employees. If you have seen an HR by mistake you are lucky. :-)
6) Employees :: Last but not the least. Employees becomes frustrated because of the above valid reasons. And once you are not satisfied your work quality will affect. This is simple to understand. As an employee finding this page now in internet and writing his words what he feels in his heart.

So please try to rectify these errors. It has everything just need to restructure. I can guarantee this company can emerge powerful in software market.

There.. There.. Why did I not see this earlier. Would have saved an awful 4 years of my IT experience.
Cons:
HR - HR tries to speak in favor of management and doesn't even listen to employees, if questioned threatens to fire or lay or let go.
Finance - Even after approval from the BU heads, they still expect submission of original bills via courier. Yes, even being in IT industry they don't accept e-mails of the receipt. They will do anything to let their money stay in their pockets.
Management - most manager have been working many years, may be they are incompetent of new opp or just enjoy free salary. They are more into passing the ball, no one works towards building a better future. They have all the possible reasons to not give you good appraisals, and never appreciate the efforts you put in giving them billing.
PDAC: Join Syntel and get ready to work in any technology that is thrown to you as you are the expert. You seldom work on projects that you have the skill-set for.
Admin Staff - These are probably the only people I like in Syntel. :)
Pros : You do get a chance to onsite, IF the need arises and you possess the technical skills. Though the salary is in pea-nuts.
In a nutshell, I would advice against joining this firm.

Guys from hindi and marathi medium are far better than you. You ### people stay out of maharashtra. Syntel is far better place to work.
First check 1001 grammar errors and then point out fingers on others. You said on second day you left Syntel, and how come on second day you asked for holiday? Is this holiday camp? The TL should have kicked on your ###.

I must say that I have experienced the same unprofessional work culture there as you guys mentioned, and all the discrimination. I had to leave that company in just 8 months because I was so frustrated beyond repair. Actually, I absconded due to their unprofessional-ism. It all happened when I raised a complaint against my onsite-coordinator because in short he was a dick (I guess you already know everyone there is a stupid ###). Instead of taking any action against him, my manager put me in probation and it was so humiliating. Now, after absconding from there, they are sending me a lot of notices from different advocates to frustrate and asking me to pay the bond amount of 100000 rupees and also for the notification period. I have no idea how to deal with this as i am incapable of paying them this amount. Also, If I can I won't pay because they made my life miserable for those precious 8 months. Please, advice me what to do.
